"Sue was rude. I've been growing out my dyed hair for a while now and only had some on my bangs. The root was down below my ear when I asked her to "cut the rest of the dyed hair off." She looked at me like I was speaking a whole other language and asked what I meant. To cut off whatever dyed hair I had left on my bangs?! She still left blond hair on me and looked annoyed when I asked for more to be cut off and she still didn't cut enough when her next appointment cane in and basically kicked me out the chair."

"I have never been one to leave reviews, but I feel this experience warrants it and I guess there’s a first time for everything. When I initially called to make the appointment, I explained I wanted split dye with half blonde half my natural color, the person on the phone said “so highlights?” And I said “no, I want one side fully blonde” and again she said “so highlights, those are highlights”. Since I am virtually clueless when it comes to hair as I’ve never done anything with mine, and even though I did have a lot of doubt about the prospect of her saying what I wanted was highlights, I just decided to trust she knew what she was talking about. Well my appointment rolled around today, I got there and explained what I wanted, and the stylist said that she doesn’t do that and that I was down for highlights. I told her about the conversation when I made the appointment and she again said that she doesn’t do that. I’ll give her the tiniest bit of props for suggesting doing highlights on one side of my hair, although that’s a widely strange hairstyle to go with in my opinion, but that was the only attempt at accommodation I got, I said no to that suggestion and all I got back was “okay have a nice day” with no further attempt to reschedule. I got my items and left, holding back tears. I was made to feel stupid on the phone when I made the appointment, then got attitude as if it’s my fault they didn’t understand what I was asking. All I’m saying is, listen to what your clients are asking and if there’s miscommunication at least reschedule for a later date and do not try to make it seem as if it’s entirely the clients fault for miscommunication. Take accountability and accommodate to best serve your clients."

"I have very curly hair and wanted someone who listened and understood my hair needs. I had been to so many hair stylists throughout the years and although they were all okay, it wasn't until I met Diane at Vivid, did I find a keeper!! I love Diane's professionalism mixed with attention to detail. I have never had a bad experience in the 10 years I have patronized her business. All the women that work there are outstanding professionals who care about your needs. I would highly recommend Diane and her vivid stylists."

"I have been growing my very short hair out for over a year. I decided to get it styled and brought a picture. I showed Diane the picture, she glanced at it and washed my hair. She never asked about my hair (I have a ton of hair and lots of cowlicks). I asked her to show me how she was going to style it. She responded, as she kept cutting, “ its called a hair style so you have to style it”. Really? Remember my hair has been super short for over 30 years and I wanted a more modern cut. Once the cut was done she turned my chair sideways and started blow drying, I could not see what she as doing. When she was done my hair looked like a giant mushroom and she exclaimed “I love it”. Well I didn’t. It looked nothing like the picture. The next day when I did my own hair I could not believe how horrible and uneven the cut was. Needless to say today I had to get my hair cut again to fix all her mistakes. I would give zero stars if I could."
