Mondovi Dental - Fayetteville

"Cancelled appointments for my entire family with just a couple of days notice and then unwilling to reschedule due to "staffing shortages". Then constant emails, mailings, and texts telling us we are overdue for our cleanings! Not only that, though. My 9 year old son went in for a cleaning and x-rays 2 weeks before a trip we were taking. He was given a clean bill of health, but a couple days into our trip started complaining of severe tooth pain. We took him to an emergency dentist where they x-rayed his tooth to show extensive decay that had been present for weeks, if not months. It was so bad he had to get his tooth extracted while on vacation. I am not saying that they should have taken his tooth out at Mondovi, but I know there was no way that tooth wasn't decayed 2 weeks before when he was seen by them."

"This place has service that has declined in satisfaction recently. I use to be able get 2 yearly appointments for our family of 5 regularly. Now I just had first appointment in November this year and the next one is in August next year!!! Dental health is important but they cannot meet the recommended 2 per year cleaning then something is wrong. The hygienist is also not as good as the one I had for years. The change in ownership to Mondovi is the worst thing ever."

"I so appreciate the doctor calling me back right away this morning, on a Saturday, to discuss mom's worsening and swollen face. He answered my questions and was helpful in coming up with a contingency plan. I was very impressed and comforted by the support provided."

"I am only giving a one star review because of this office’s extremely idiotic desk people. The hygienists and dentists are amazing. The front desk people on the other hand are the absolute worst. They violate hipaa like that’s what they’re getting paid to do. The amount of times I’ve had to pick up my bills from my parents house for me and my son is insane. They have talked to me about my family members info and have talked about mine and my son’s personal info to my family members as well. Not to mention they never have my correct insurance info even though I update it with them every single time I’m in there. My moms insurance was billed rather than my insurance for my dental cleaning. Leaving me with a bill for over $200 when after speaking to my insurance I owe less than $90. If I didn’t check my bills before paying them I would’ve been screwed out of over $100 for no reason. When speaking to the office they made it seem like it was my problem and that my insurance denied it when in reality they never even billed my insurance. I can’t say enough bad things about these front desk people. I could truly go on for days. Y’all should be fired immediately and replaced with staff that actually had more than two brain cells. Absolutely finding a new office for me and my son to go to."

"My husband has had several scheduled cleaning appointments over the past year and all have been canceled by the practice. I myself have had two scheduled appointments canceled by the practice. The office stated they are short staffed and can only put us on a waiting list and if we schedule another appointment it won’t be for at least 9 months and they can’t guarantee that will also not be cancelled. I receive multiple notifications to schedule an appointment because I’m overdue. Unfortunately this practice has made doing so impossible. We have been extremely patient but with 5 appointments between the both of us being cancelled and being over due a year for a basic cleaning, I would think proper curtesy would be to reschedule within a reasonable time frame and not make us continuously call the office to try and get in. Most of the time just speaking to an answering service and never receiving a call back."
