"One would think the owner of this agency would be the star of the show. After speaking with him and receiving poor customer service, my colleague and I followed up with multiple emails to confirm that one of our owners business disability policies wouldn't be cancelled. The Manager of that business didn't get us paperwork timely and thus we were late on payment. Mind you, the payment we owed was $15.48. Darrell informed us the policy was not cancelled. After moving the policy along with others to our other broker, who is amazing by the way, we were notified that the policy was in fact cancelled. The Stewart Agency didn't bother to notify us or respond to any of our emails. When I informed Darrell that the policy was in fact cancelled, he continued to argue with me to tell me that it was reinstated. It was not reinstated and that carrier would not reinstate it so we had to go through a different carrier. Luckily, our new amazing broker is handling all of that. If anyone is looking for a responsive broker, with excellent customer service, do not go to the Stewart Agency. I will also add that I never write poor reviews. Times are tough and it's important to support small businesses. But at the same time, this is an agency that has small businesses as clients and has a blatant disregard for those businesses."

"Our company disability policy (purchased through Darrell) got canceled over a $15 late payment that we did not know was due. When we found out it was late, we called Darrell and after finally agreeing to speak with us (after we "proved" to him that we were employees of the company), he explained how to pay the bill and told us we would not get canceled. We paid the $15 ASAP and emailed Darrell, who not only never responded, he never informed us when the policy was canceled. We just found out from the carrier that by the point we were calling Darrell and making the payment our policy had already been canceled and Darrell failed to mention that on the phone. Will never do business with him again and would never recommend him to anyone."

"This company is the absolute worst! Darell Stewart thinks he is the insurance police. We are a small business with operations of simple things. We pay top dollar for insurance, yet we are denied time & time again, the simple things we need from our agent to transact business. The Stewart Agency, run by Darell Stewart is the biggest mistake in business we have made. Darell Stewart has cost our family $30k in business, & couting!! He literally takes food off our table. Don't use Darell Stewart or the Stewart Agency....YOU WILL REGRET IT!!"
