"My favorite Italian restaurant in Utica and has been for over a decade. We stopped in last night and the service was great. Everyone was friendly and polite. We had our 1 year old son with us and he loved the food too! We ordered greens, fried calamari, riggies and Alfredo. We had plenty of leftovers! The calamari wasn’t my favorite and I love fried calamari, but it was still good. Everything else was top notch. Our bill was under $100 which was nice. I’m glad they’re still going strong. Will always be back!"

"An unusual experience. The staff talked more about other places to go then they did about there own restaurant. I had the stuffed shells with the Alfredo sauce and the Alfredo sauce was horrible. Very salty, creamy and thick and made the dish barely edible. I was also charged extra for the Alfredo sauce. My husband got the seafood pasta dish and it was flavorful but barely had any pasta and we had to send back the muscles because they were closed. And will pass on the tomato pie and calamari."

"Food was delicious. Portions were huge. Atmosphere was fun. Great vibe. Server was super friendly. Would def come back. Not crazy about the booth seating. It wasn't very comfortable. We will probably ask for a table next time. Also would be nice to ask us if we wanted a glass for our beer. She did bring us water to drink with our meal and extra plates to share our apps, etc... Table was quickly cleared as we finished each course. We just really enjoyed the experience."

"Food: The chicken riggies, a local classic, at Bella Regina were absolutely wonderful. The portion size was enormous, allowing me to enjoy some leftovers the next day. It was a hearty and satisfying dish with tender chicken and perfectly cooked rigatoni. On the other hand, the veal parmesan, although not to my personal liking due to my aversion to veal, was greatly enjoyed by my wife, who finished the entire serving. Ambiance: Bella Regina boasts an eclectic and charming ambiance. While waiting to be seated, my wife and I couldn't help but admire the diverse decor. The restaurant had something for everyone, with nods to Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, leg lamps, and old photographs of Sinatra and the Rat Pack. The atmosphere felt reminiscent of an old Italian mother's house, creating a cozy and nostalgic setting. Service: The service at Bella Regina was good, without being particularly outstanding. Our server was attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal. While it didn't leave a lasting impression, it didn't detract from our overall experience either. Overall: We had a great time dining at Bella Regina, relishing in the opportunity to savor local flavors and experience a restaurant with genuine character. It was a refreshing change from the typical touristy establishments. The delicious chicken riggies, combined with the eclectic ambiance, made for a memorable visit. If you're in Utica, NY, I highly recommend giving Bella Regina a try for a taste of local cuisine and an enjoyable dining experience."
