"The best part of the complex is the staff. They are friendly, attentive, and maintenance requests or issues are always either addressed promptly or communicated clearly. It is an older complex, and so you're going to have a few "older building" issues (they are updating a lot of units). Also walking distance from multiple great trails. I have no clue what reasonable rent is anymore, so I can't really speak to that. Seems par for the course."

"UPDATE: I called management, and property manager Charles answered. Shadowood management's reply to my review implies that they want to help... In reality, I was given no real solutions, and no explanation for why the refund didn't happen in the 5+ months between my first request and now. He now claims that there's nothing they can do to help with the refund. I've had major issues getting a refund on a duplicate charge of $125 off my security deposit. I moved out on 6/15/23, and till this day I have not been refunded despite REPEATED emails and phone calls. Every single time, William (assistant property manager) assured me that the refund would be issued soon, and that I should see it in the mail by the end of the month. This NEVER happened, and each month I had to reach back out to request the refund again. Eventually, he stopped replying to my emails entirely. This has completely soured my experience with Shadowood management."

"Our visit to Shadowood was wonderful. We didn’t have appointment but William was very helpful and welcoming. Showed us all kinds of floor plans. We are happy to rent here, will update again after some months of living, stay tuned."

"UPDATE: I wrote this review on 8/6/23. On 8/8/23 my check was cut, on 8/9/23 the “owner” replied to my review. and 8/10/23 I was called by the owner, telling me my check was cut and that they had “no idea what was going on”. Ok great management? Lol, proceeded to ask me to deleted the review as the check was in the mail and would arrive by 8/13 or 8/14. The check was finally delivered on 8/16, three months after move out! And had both me and my roommates names so we then had to wait several weeks before being able to take it to the bank together due to being in different states. HUGE inconvenience all together and do not recommend. Initial Review: The management and living conditions here are horrendous. Lived here for a year and moved out may of 2023. While the lease guarantees a refund and/or itemized bill be sent within 30 days of the lease ending, it has now been 68 days and over 6 calls and I haven’t seen a cent, meanwhile the invoice shows no damage and says I am owed over $400. The model apartment is significantly better than what you get, our apartment was dirty and maintenance had been lacking for quite some time when we moved in. Cars were broken into frequently with no cameras on the property supposedly. They turn the water off for atleast 5 hours randomly every week and don’t offer bathrooms in the office or anything. No deduction for the inconvenience. Highly do not recommend and I could give you 1,000 other reasons. Management, please contact me!"
