"Service is good when you have warranty. Some xc90 cars have large gaps in the sunroof seal at the ends. Volvo even issued a TJ for it. This center charged me a few hundreds to fix. The center didn’t pay my car rental expense on time and my credit card was charged by the rental company. Giuseppe is my advisor and he is easy to work with during my service visit. However it’s hard to get him on a call. He is always busy. I had to drop by his desk to deal with the car rental issue. He is able to resolve it in less than ten minutes. Thank you Giuseppe!"

"Terrible service from this service department. I had to cancel my appointment due to my disgust. I had scheduled my 2nd maintenance service here for my 2022 xc90. The lady on the phone said it would be $400. ??? I said the first 3 services are free and she replied- “ i dont know what kind of warrant you have”. This lady didnt even know that new volvos come with the first 3 maintenance services free. She just said yea we have to charge you for the diagnoze-in. She couldn’t even pronounce diagnosing"

"Overall service is mediocre. It's not terrible, but certain leaves a lot to be desired. After dropping off the car, good luck with trying to get in touch with the service rep. Seems to be pretty standard protocol to forward calls to VM only to never be returned. They text with updates occationally but never reply to questions over text. They do what is asked, but any sort of "advising" seems non-existent. I've had plenty worse service department visits, so they are not terrible. They seem to do the bare minimum to qualify for satisfactory service."

"It is with deep regret that I find myself compelled to pen this review for the Volvo Service of Queens, after entrusting my car to their care. Given Volvo's reputation, I anticipated a service experience that mirrored the brand’s purported commitment to excellence. Unfortunately, the reality fell far short. One of the most basic tenets of any service industry, particularly one that involves a significant financial and emotional investment such as one's vehicle, is transparent communication. A client should never be left in the dark about the status of their valued possession, especially when they have been assured of timely updates. Regrettably, this fundamental expectation was not met during my interaction with Volvo Service of Queens. Throughout the duration of my car's stay, I found myself in the unenviable position of having to reach out repeatedly, seeking updates that should have been proactively provided to me. Each time I did so, I was met with vague responses and a conspicuous lack of clarity. This absence of proactive communication not only caused undue stress but also disrupted my personal and professional schedule. To anyone considering utilizing the services of Volvo Service of Queens, I urge you to reconsider. While mechanical expertise is crucial in car service, so too is the ability to provide customer-centric care, keeping clients informed every step of the way. The latter, based on my experience, is a skill that this establishment sorely lacks. In conclusion, I find it my responsibility to caution fellow car owners against entrusting their vehicles to a service center that does not prioritize their customers’ peace of mind. I will not be recommending Volvo Service of Queens to friends, family, or associates."

"Horrible service! My Volvo xc40 lease had sensor and gps issues. I took the car in and they provided a loaner. They kept my car for about a month and provided minimum updates on the status or progress over the last two weeks. After getting my car back, within a week the same problem started. I have tried to call or text them to let them know I had similar issues but u fortunately no one responds. It’s sad because the sales dept is one of the best I have dealt with but the service dept everyone should stay away from. Stay away!"
