"Disappointed in how this small business is ran. I received a gift from this store for my 2 month old daughter. It was a winter sweater dress/outfit that will not fit my daughter in the correct season. It wouldn’t even fit now and it’s currently August. I attempted to exchange the item but was told it was final sale. She state that all their final sale items have the tags cut off at purchase time by my gift did not. It has the intact tag stating the regular price of $56. She explained that the item was bought off the sale rake for 60% off. So rather than give me the $20 sale price, in a store credit which I was willing to use immediately and pay the difference in cost for the new items I picked out, she chose to turn away my business. Now I have a dress that will get no use and she lost a sale…pointless #smallbusinessfail"

"I stopped by for the first time recently to look for a pretty dress for my 4 year old daughter. The lady who helped me was very nice and super patient as I looked at every single garment on every single hanger. I found the CUTEST PRETTIEST dress and even though it was 2 sizes too big she told me that this particular dress is cut smaller and sure enough it was because it fit my daughter perfectly. She received soo many compliments on her dress at the event. This store seriously has the cutest outfits and accessories. I highly recommend them if you want a break from the cookie cutter options from your typical chain stores and want to find an adorable outfit for your kiddo."

"Koukla Children’s Boutique is a unique find in Bellmore NY. It is located at 2691 Merrick Road. My mom and I decided to check this store out when shopping for my sister’s baby shower. We wanted to get some one of a kind clothes for my new nephew to be. We were looking for things that we could not find in those big box stores. I have to say this store did not disappoint. Although they are a boutique store their selection is amazing. My sister and brother-in-law live in Queens and are both into soccer. We were was able to find clothes that reflect that. We got a soccer onesie, a New York City shirt, and a New York City baseball hat. We also found a beautiful sweater that I know my nephew will wear all winter. We also got a bunch of other cute things. Beside the beautiful clothes I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the owners. The two owners who are sisters were so friendly and helpful. They walked around the store helping me pick things out. Although the store was pretty busy when I came they had time for all of their customers. This experience was so much nicer than going into Target or Baby’s R Us, where you do not get special assistance from employees. I know my mom is planning her many trips back to buy clothes for her new grandson as well as her other grandsons who are five and seven. I will definitely be joining her on those trips. If you have children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, or if you know people who have kids you must put this store on your Christmas shopping list."
