"4 stars just because the staff was very friendly, but the food was sub par! I understand everyone makes food, but the cole slaw was funky. At first bite, the texture was good, but the after taste was nasty like a package of bandaids & the same with the fish. It was a nice big piece of fish, but the aftertaste it left was horrible.... on a positive note, the deep fried chicken cordon blue balls were good."

"Great food served up quick, friendly staff, definitely has a small town bar atmosphere, if going there to eat with a larger group, call ahead and make a reservation as seating is limited, the bar itself is rather small but makes up for it by having a big personality behind it and from what I hear makes one of the best whiskey sours around, whether local or from out of town it's definitely worth stopping in and checking out"

"We were staying at an airbnb when we visited. The owner was very kind and fun to talk to. They serve good food and have a wide variety of drinks. There is a pool table 1.00 a game, a dining area and darts in the back. Like a little forest oasis of the beaten trail."
