"Highly overrated for coffee. It may be nice to sit in, though pretty packed, but coffee is very mediocre - bitter and burnt beans, too hot, and cappuccino with plop of thick milk foam on top. Far better options all around in brooklyn."

"This place has been a favorite for a long time. The coffee is excellent, the interior is calming and beautiful, they have good pastries (including gluten free) and the guys here are really nice."

"Delightful! Popped in for a coffee and decided to try the signature Velvette - it’s vanilla with brown sugar, milk, and espresso, not too sweet and absolutely nothing artificial about it. The baristas were super dope and kind, handling the morning line with grace. Lovely atmosphere and outdoor seating, will def be back!"

"Great earl grey tea with good amount of bergamot hint. Also had a mango Éclair, O would say it’s the best that I had in a while, generous filling of tasty mango custard and crispy shell! Good spot for a cup and some rest."

"let's just say that i've always wanted to open a cafe, and this place is pretty darn close to how i'd do it myself--lots of food/pastry options, great coffee, and the music they play is mostly indie pop i would say. i like the interiors as well, great place to work with many seating options & outlets. my go-to order is the spinach quiche and iced americano with oat milk. above all, the staff is always so so welcoming and sweet."
