"If you find yourself on the A.T. around mile 69 heading NOBO and you need a place to stop for the night this is the place to do it. Hands down a great experience. Rooms and bunk house are clean and comfy. They even offer free breakfast when you stay. Did I mention that it was a delicious breakfast. If you find yourself in a pinch and need some gear they’ve got you covered. The outfitter shop is a bit cramped but growing and full of essential gear. Even though I’ve now made it further North on my section hikes I do plan to return for a stay."

"Great hosts and staff, all really friendly and give good recommendations what to explore in the area. Also a good place to stay if you want to escape the city for a couple of days and do some day hikes (on the AT or other trails). It was really a pleasure staying here."
"This hostel and the entire grounds are spectacularly gorgeous. Nice hot showers and clean restrooms. Need washing/drying? It's all here as well. Shuttles to Hiawassee were provided for dinner and resupply. The beds/linens were clean and comfortable, leading to a great night's sleep after a full day of hiking the A.T. HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here when coming off of the trail!"
