"While visiting Buffalo recently I eagerly looked forward to enjoying a Buffalo fish fry. I was immensely disappointed at this restaurant’s idea of a Fish Fry. The Mac salad and coleslaw were uneventful but the large piece of fish was lying on top of the French fries which made them soggy. Now, for the worst….the beer battered fish looked good at first till I cut into it and saw the inside was still uncooked. The crust was mushy and unappetizing. It was one big mess and the topper of this was there was an extra charge of $1.00 on my bill for the Chef. Save your money and pick another place or don’t order the fish fry even though the bottled beer I ordered was great."

"I’ve been in a few times mid-week. The beers are fine, but the food is an abomination. The menu is almost all fryer food, which isn't always a bad thing, but it’s certainly not great here. Most recently I ordered the loaded fries ($13) and it was a plate of the saltiest fries I’ve ever had, loaded with melted nacho cheese (not in a good way) and some bacon. Menu also mentioned ranch but I didn’t see any. I think the bartenders are multi-tasking between working the bar, making food, and waiting tables, and it shows. Other times I’ve ordered other fried items that come out too dark and over cooked. Maybe the food is better on the weekend when there is (presumably) more staffing. Maybe that is where some of the more positive reviews are coming from. In my experience the staff is set up to fail. If I know I’m meeting friends here I eat dinner before I leave the house and stick to their beer menu."

"Awesome food. We went on tuesday and it was trivia night.. .so it was a little loud when they were doing that, but as soon as it ended, it was very reasonable. The beer selection was top notch! The cocktails were great and the liquor options were stellar! Not a while bunch of vegetarian options, so that's the one recommendation I'd have for them to get on their menu. At the very least have a salad? But the food was great....come hungry! Between me and my eating partner, we had about 4 huge potatoes worth of fries. We couldnt eat them all. I'll be back for sure."

"I've been here several times and overall have a decent experience. Plenty of drink selections and food is good. But last night (as well as the past few times I've been there) the bartenders are more concerned with their own level of fun as well as playing darts with their friends and taking call on their cellphones behind the bar than taking care of their customers... had to ask several times for drinks, food orders, etc. I'm sure I'll end up back there again, but it's def not my go-to spot.."

"Stopped by first time for lunch on a Friday. Sitting on the patio enjoying a beautiful day. Had the grouper taco (2) and it was amazing with a bit of kick from the blackened spices. Only the bartender working but he did a great job of service coming out to the patio but there was only 1 customer inside and 2 outside. Surprised craft beer was full price ($6) and no happy hour at 11:30 in morning. Will come again."
