"Pleasant experience, reasonable prices, close to stores, restaurants and downtown Asheville. Very clean rooms and property, lots of grassy area. Plenty of parking, Owner lives on site with family so any issues are handled promptly."
"It's an older property, but it's evident the owners care. Owners were outstanding. Have nothing but good things to say about them and what they are doing with this place. Updating and taking care of maintenance as they can. We will be back. Service and overall I would give higher star rating if I could."
"Man I had AMAZING experience at the rock haven.the owners are pretty cool. Service could be a little bit better. the cleaning lady is a Little slow but if you stay on her she's pretty good about getting your needs taken care of. Other then that, good location, stores nearby, historic main street nearby and conveniently located right by the interstate and highways to get to and from places and attractions. We're in love and it's not as bad as everybody claims it is btw the owner has REALLY cut down on the NO TOLERANCE FOR TROUBLE MAKING RULES. So need a quiet, comfortable place to stay, they'll take care of you and the family. Rock Haven motel in Asheville NC."
"The pics on Google are very deceiving. I'll start with the positives. The location is great. The staff are very friendly and the heat works. I would love to say our room didn't look like a crime scene but I would be lying. My feet did not touch the floor the whole time I was in this room. Cigarette burns on both of the beds. We're pretty sure there was blood spatter on the ceiling. If it wasn't freezing and snowing I would've slept in my car."
"Vick and his wife who run this place are so friendly , they made us feel like family, truly. Our rooms were clean and smelled fresh and I recommend staying here if you visit Asheville. I will definitely be back. Our children fell in love with the the people that work here and they were very helpful and friendly folks.. And it's affordable!!"
