The Halal Guys 911 Broadhollow Road, Farmingdale, NY 11735

"The Halal Guys is a place that I first visited in the city at one of their street carts. I was amazed by their efficiency and popularity. As there were usually lines 5 people or more. Service was still very quick and there was another one of the Halal Guys cart across the street. The Halal guys make a more refined and unique type of food. With their signature white sauce and extra spicy hot sauce. The spiced Beef (not lamb) and chicken is also more flavorful than others too. They offer small and regular sized platters where the small is a typical halal sized platter and regular can be eaten in 2 servings especially if extra meat is ordered. The brick and mortar locations on Long Island are more expensive than the cart. But that is to be expected. There is parking, dinning room, bathroom, and more food and drink options to choose from. We love that there is a Halal Guys close to home and prefer them over other halal options in the area."

"Amazing experience. The food was great and they had a new item called the “spiced braised lamb” and the lady serving me let me try it to make sure I like it. I ended up going with the gyro but she was nice throughout and the food was spectacular!"

"The lamb over rice with garlic sauce and bbq sauce and had the babaganush. Very delicious and their pitas are good. The staff is super nice and doesn't rush you and their facility is very clean."

"Halal chicken / lamb combo platters are always good BUT for $12.. I normally get it off a truck for $7 with a soda included so it’s definitely more then I’m use to paying for what it is … but I will say the portions / containers are bigger here and the quality of the meats pretty good so I give it a 4/5. Would I come back? Maybe if I was craving the food and wanted a big plate of it, and was in the area. So probably only for location convenience. Employee’s are very nice though :)"

"Best Halal period. Locations may differ but that classic Hahal Guys taste is undeniable. This visit to their Farmingdale location I tried the combo platter and the beef Gyro. Needless to say the beefis mouthwatering, chicken perfectly marinated and that rice cooked to perfection. Don’t Even get me started on that world famous white sauce. Only if I knew the secret ingredients I would make it at home and top it on everything lol. Big thumbs up to this location and their extremely friendly staff. I’ll definitely be back soon."
