K-CITY BBQ hot pot & sushi

"One of the first Korean BBQ and hot pot places on Long Island. Before you would have to make the trip into flushing to get some good hot pot but now this location makes it accessible for anyone living in Long Island and let me tell you, it is absolutely worth it! The restaurant is very spacious with multiple different sized tables. It is recommended to make a reservation if you plan to come with a large group. Each table has an induction stove at each seat with a BBQ grill for every 4 seats plus adjustable vents. Our waiters were quick and took our orders for our hot pots. You can either chose 1 broth or get 2 broths for your hotpot. A handy tip, you can also order bowls of rice which pairs well with grilled meats. There are a plethora of meats, veggies, and seafood to choose from for the hotpot and BBQ. Sushi is also available but don't expect high quality sushi. It's a good addition but nothing crazy. There is also a sauce station to create your own dipping sauce for your meal. Overall it was well worth it. Definitely better than some of the locations in flushing due to atmosphere, choices and locale."

"This place is absolutely amazing - there is so much variety with hotpot, K-BBQ, and sushi as well as standard Chinese buffet food and an ice cream freezer, and all of them are pretty good quality too. There are tons of options, so much so that it’s almost overwhelming. The sheer amount of food that you can get in this buffet-style restaurant is extremely nice, and the quality of the food is quite nice as well. There is hotpot items such as fish balls, grill items like short ribs and sushi and sashimi items, and even standard Chinese buffet food such as lo mein, so there is definitely something for everyone. The service is amazing as well. The waitstaff is friendly and quick with getting you everything you need and with clearing your table. Something that is definitely surprising is just how clean this place is. The restrooms, the buffet lines and the sauce bar are constantly being cleaned and everything is really clean. There is also a parking lot in the back, accessible for everyone, which is a nice bonus. Overall, I definitely recommend this place. With tons of options of food, friendly staff and a nice and clean atmosphere, I will definitely be returning."

"A great place to eat with family! They even helped you understand the process of it. It was our first time there and the kids loved it too. They loved they have Many different ice cream options. Which is a plus +++++ for them. My Best part is each of us have our own separate hot pot and lots of raw meat and seafood options! Love it! Be careful when you order the spicy soup from the hot pot… it’s super spicy. Suggested don’t get both sides of the pot spicy. Overall the waitress and food was on point! The food was so fresh! Will be back!"

"My son chose this place for his birthday dinner. First time trying Korean bbq, it was a great experience, the meat was seasoned and there was plenty of choice. The service was great as well. I just wish they didn't charge $24 for my 7 year old who only had "noodle" soup but I guess we paid that for the experience. We will definitely go back but maybe when my youngest daughter is a little older."
