Puerto Plata Seafood On The Water

"The food was scrumptious, and the seasonal coquito was the cherry on top. I thoroughly enjoyed the Friday night R&B DJ set. It was a nice surprise as the music was different the last two times that I went. Not only was our waitress exceptional (I'm so sorry I don't remember her name at the moment. It might've been Tiffany), but all of the staff were fantastic. They were vibrant with the congratulations song and attentive to our table in terms of any of our needs. I will be returning, and I do recommend."

"Food was great. Yucca with cheese is delicious! Alcoholic beverages are strong. Meals are served almost boil style in metal bowls."

"Went here one night for dinner it was my second visit. We were seated right away the waitress was caught up with other customers and we had to call the guy from the bar to take our order. We sat for quite some time and he had notice he waved and he came took our orders. That’s the only thing I’d say that I didn’t like. Other than that the food never disappoints they have this yuca mash that you must try it’s a whole different concoction it was super delicious along with the plater we ordered. Also their ceviche is of the chain at this place again I would definitely be back just got a little frustrated with the waitress. Overall delicious food good music and good vibes."

"Attended here on a Saturday evening without reservations for a party of 8. They were able to accommodate us which was great. The atmosphere was nice, very busy, they played music, everyone was having a great time. I will say there is a communication error between the staff and the kitchen as there doesn't seem like the lead/managment is in control. Our drink orders were taken, however not all of our beverages came out together. We ordered a variety of things from alcohol to juice for a child and it took forever for the juice to get to the table. We asked for a booster seat and that took 45 minutes for them to get. We were later told that our server was new and they were the only person covering their own tables plus the other servers tables. Not to mention we placed our food orders in around 8:20 pm and our food did not come out until after 9: 10 pm. At one point I asked the other staff member where was our food? They advised us 10 minutes, but that was really 20 plus. One of our orders was messed up and we had to wait awhile for the order to be corrected. Once the food arrived we all were surprised of how delicious it was. The only thing I didn't like was there wasnt a bucket to dump the shells from the food in. They definitely have to step it up when it comes to the overall service and the bathroom as well. I don't understand how they can seat so many people inside and only have two large restrooms with one bathroom attendant, she barely kept the bathroom floor clean around the toilet. Helpful tip: I will also say that while being there for the duration of our visit that if you sit at the bar you get served faster than seating at the tables."

"Fun place to meet friends. Drinks are decent. Not watered down. The seafood is decent, however if you looking to get a Latin style seafood, not here. We got a seafood mix for about $145. I was overloaded with Old Bay seasoning or just some sprinkle on Cajun seasoning. The staff was very good. They get an extra star for attentiveness. Overall I would recommend this place for the experience."
