"ordered on phone told we paid with discover when picked up but cannot pay with credit card on phone, had a different name for order finally the manger was able to take cash who also took my order on phone. The order was missing an item called and said we did not pay for it I can order and come pick it up and hung up on me. No packages of soy sauce or duck sauce in bag."
"Living here in Oceanside 25yrs and ate me some great Chinese. This is my 3rd time ordering from Dannys. Last 2 times were underwhelming but gave 1 more chance as an in person pickup to eliminate the delivery cool down. sesame chicken hard and dry. Lomein (they accomodated lomein substitution for rice) tasteless with little to no pork strips. 2 pieces of broccoli. Even their "homemade" mustard was tasteless. Other 2 times I ordered soup and general tso's. The biggest assault was 1 combo plate $16 pickup in store. Wow. Stick with China King on brower."
"at work and we decided to have chinese food. Two of us decided to have The lunch special boneless spare ribs. The fried rice was good but the spare ribs were horrible!!! They were dry inedible!!! Very dissatisfied"
"Been ordering here for awhile and it's been good. Last order a few days ago was missing an item, when I called them they said a refund for item would go back on credit card rather than redelivering. I agreed, but refund credit never got done."
"First time ordering after getting the menu in my mailbox multiple times. Spare ribs were good. Meat dumplings (is it pork or beef? Just says ‘meat’) were over fried (not juicy) and under seasoned. Chicken in my cashew chicken tasted precooked like it was boiled for soup first and then used in the wok dishes. I would say that it was just ‘ok’. If they were the only game in town, I’d order from them again if I had a Chinese food craving. But with a ton of other great Chinese takeout places in Oceanside, I don’t think I’ll be returning to Danny’s Chinese Kitchen."
