"This is a fabulous restaurant to walk into and have a meal. I would not recommend making reservations, they are very unorganized for such a small place. I paid for a reservation that was not held, table was not ready for an additional 30 mins and was not properly set up for the number in my party. Food orders were not placed correctly, bill was incorrect at the end of the meal and I was given a new charge for the ‘cost’ of the reservation that was different than what was given on the phone. On another occasion the restaurant took a reservation and then was closed when we arrived! Very unprofessional and disorganized. Such a shame because they could have remedied the interactions very easily and the food is really lovely. Was very upset since it was my birthday."

"Ordered the risotto.Horrible..watery, not prepared in any way that I recognized as risotto. The bread and toast served with our brunch was bland white bread. The price demanded much more carefully prepared food. Our bill was $82.00 for two for our brunch. We were asked to pay cash, The credit card machine was broken? I handed the waiter a $100 bill. He never brought the change. When i asked for the change he seemed surprised. I guess he assumed he was getting the balance as a tip.I could go on but I'll stop here."

"1st time visit, brunch- food was phenomenal, chef owner fabulous, service excellent. Had risotto with roasted vegetables, poached egg, was sooo yummy..my boy friend had tomato soup & grilled cheese- the meals were top notch, true casual fine dining soulful experience. Great ambience, music in background, attentive staff -wonderful experience. Highly recommend. Will return."

"Service was great, food was good. We had pancakes, omelet, both were excellent. Chicken waffle was good as expected. Avocado pita was just ok, however, cucumber salad that comes with it was excellent. Green juice wasn’t something I would order gain, it was taken off the bill though. I think the place is too expansive for the neighbourhood eatery, it was about $150 for three people, note that tips are cash only. Overall, good experience"
