"We went to Uncle Bacala’s for dinner for the 1st time and we were not disappointed. The service and atmosphere was on point. We had a great time and plan on bringing my kids this time. I had the Tuscan onion soup (to me sounded like a French onion soup) but to my surprise it was better than a French onion soup and just for this I will be definitely coming back."
"Amazing food. Ordered pappardelle and the butternut squash ravioli, and while delicious, it was sweet like a dessert, but I still enjoyed it a lot. The pappardelle was to die for, and I would go back to have it. Overall, the food was excellent, and the service was superb. Wednesday is half off on wine, and they have valet parking. Most definitely recommend. The atmosphere was family like, and I highly recommend it."
"Tonight was my first time at Uncle Bacala’s and it was wonderful! Had an awesome pomegranate martini at the bar (bartender was very nice). The place was beautifully decorated for Christmas - poinsettias all around, nutcrackers lined up and even a full-size Christmas tree. The meal itself was delicious, we shared the zucchini flowers to start, then I had the brasato al barolo (braised short ribs) with polenta (delicious and terrific portion size).. and then after our meal they brought us cotton candy! We thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening and look forward to returning soon."
"We had a private dinner party in the outdoor tent last week for my mom’s birthday. I cannot express how amazing everything was from beginning to end. While planning the party, Eva was incredibly helpful and accommodating. She ensured that the our experience went as smooth and as seamlessly as possible. The food was so delicious (our guests are still talking about it) and the staff were so kind and accommodating as well. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Uncle Bacalas or host another event here."
"Great go to place for delicious Italian food. Dishes are always well prepared and prices are reasonable. Love their fried zucchini slices along with their fired calamari. Deserts are delicious and their cotton candy is always make u feel like a kid again. On this trip, I questioned a charge on my bill and the owner came and clearly explained the reason for the fee and gave us a $25 gift certificate which was totally unnecessary. I love their food and service with comfort of valet parking. This is why it's my "go to" for good Italian eating."
