"Customer service "horrible." The fried chicken " nasty, fried with dirty oil. Mac and cheese pie " cheese where" dry. Not worth the drive, uber or MTA. Oxtails were basically "ok." I got there around 5pm, "time" probably played a part in the quality of food I received."
"After my interview, I was ravenously hungry! The oxtail was really good. I didn’t care too much for the shrimp fried rice, as I prefer my rice to be a bit more Shelly. The salad was fresh as well. Super welcoming Jamaican staff!"
"Got curried goat 02.17.2023 3:06pm.The goat did not have any taste not sure if this always happens or if its just today. Almost like I was eating plain boiled goat with no seasoning. Macaroni salad was definitely good."
"I haven’t had the food in months and decided to give it a try : 2 medium fry, 2 veggie tarry peanut punch and a pepper shrimp = $39. However, the quality has definitely changed : my fry chicken was burnt but, I remove the skin so that I could pass that. On the other hand, the pepper shrimp really smells and taste horrible. I could not eat it and would be liking a refund. I called the restaurant twice once I got home but the lines are busy (enter remote access code ).I will be bringing it back at my earliest convenience."
"C& J provides great food, dollar for dollar. However, they need to work on there order fulfilment. If you don't catch it at the counter, forget about returning it. I don't know how that work with delivery service. It's great food and you won't regret spending your hardd earn money here. Just as to see the food before they close it up and bag it."
