"Food is great!! Been here multiple times, comes in clutch when hungry and rushing to work or want variety of choices , however it doesn’t make their attitude and customer service right. Idc if you’re an authentic Jamaican bc best believe many ppl visit authentic Jamaican restaurants and don’t come across this. Idk why someone felt the need to make that an excuse. I been here countless of times and I didn’t even know that the oxtail alone is more money, until recently which is cool, no problem, but why not display that price like you do the “meals”. This store is by weight, there should be no surprises about how much your food would be weighed. Despite their nasty attitude and demeanor, I’m a fan of their cabbage, stew chicken, and fried fish."

"My fiancé loves this place she said her food was delicious but she but into something like a piece of plastic? She is pregnant and is upset now spent 30$ on a plate just to find plastics in it and her not finish it. Do better"

"Hunter's Spice Grill…..buyer beware!!! I’m a professional who travels to Queens frequently via A train for work. I stop by Hunter’s Spice Grill located on the corner of Nostrand and Fulton on my way to work occasionally to pick up food for me and my husband. This is my observations and review of this restaurant. Although the restaurant is located at a convenient location, the food is edible and the restaurant is kept clean, the customer service needs major makeover! Staff is not friendly. They don’t interact with you especially when you greet them. They make you walk out the restaurant feeling like you did them a favor by spend your hard working money at their establishment. The owner of the restaurant is no better. He is rude, disrespectful and miserable. He lacks empathy , character and emotion. The owner is always observed yelling at customers especially when they don't follow the rules when they are in the process of taking out food from the trays. He doesn’t care who you are cat, dog, rat, human etc. He yells at everyone equally!!!! Walking into this business is an anxiety provoking experience because of the way staff treats you. You will experience PTSD after visiting this establishment. The staff and the owner’s attitude and behavior leaves a bad taste in people’s mouth when they leave his restaurant. They make you regret spending your money. I don't care how the food taste. You don't have the right to talk to people like they are beneath you. The owner needs to take anger management and customer service 101 immediately. His behavior towards customers is despicable and needs to change ASAP. His staff also needs training as well. This is not Jamaican W.I. , this is America, you cant treat people anyway you want. Dear Mr. Owner, God blessed you with a talent of cooking food and skill set to run own business. Don’t block your blessing with your nasty attitude and unkind demeanor. Please understand the support of the people in the neighborhood what keeps your business afloat. Remember that! People work hard for their money and should be treated with respect!!! I spoke to my colleagues regarding their experience at Hunters Spice Grill restaurant and their reviews is not good. They all said that they dont feel comfortable with purchasing food from this place soley based on the way they have been treated. I now join them in boycotting this restaurant. From this day forward, I will no longer support Hunter's Spice Grill. Purchase at your own risk !!!!!"

"Recommend: DEFINITELY NO Price point: $$ Reason: the food tasted old. Sweet corn was tough, fried fish so dry my cousin joked and said it must've had covid. We laughed it off at first but the reality is that for money I paid, the quality should've been better. I spent $28 on one box btw. None of the items on the buffet were labeled and that made it more confusing trying to figure out what were the food items. The workers attitudes were as if they were paying the customers to come in. Not inviting at all."
