"My husband and I went out for a simple dinner for our anniversary. The food was amazing. The service was just okay for us. We went on a Tuesday night, about 1.5 hours before they closed so I understand they were probably over the day. Haha the restaurant is big, clean. I would visit again"

"The food was delicious. Our waitress was impeccable. She new every dish and made suggestions bc it was our 1st time there. However the location was giving me store front. I was really impressed when the owner Mr. Simpson walked around to every table and greeted the his patrons. I thought that was cool. That's Mr Simpson in the photo below."

"I preface this review by stating that I have been at The Simpson Restaurant and bar before; late 2022 to be exact. My lady and I had an awesome time and we did enjoy our meals and the experience. I decided to take my girlfriend here again for a late lunch on Monday 10/30 and got there about 3pm ish. We sat at the bar like we usually do and got quick service from the bartender. Surprisingly, our orders came out quickly; curried goat with white rice and veggies, chicken and waffles with a side order of Mac and cheese. Cons: 1) Fried chicken DID NOT taste as if it was just deep fried. Instead it tasted as if was sitting in the kitchen under a warmer. We expected the skin to be crispy and more seasoned. 2) My paltry serving of curried goat was also lukewarm and actually some parts were even cool/room temperature. I expected my meal to come out piping hot. I was starving and ate it anyways without complaining. 3) Although we got quick and friendly service at the bar, the bartender failed to introduce herself by name. Overall, we do enjoy going to the Simpson Restaurant and Bar and would recommend that they improve on the quality of the food coming out of the kitchen."

"Appetizers was mid at best: I had the cod fritters which were oily and overcooked and the wings which had no seasoning and over- sauced. The entrees however were delicious.. Atmosphere was lovely and fun, perfect for date night or out with friends. Customer service was pretty good as well. I'd eat here again, perhaps ordering different appetizers!!"
