"When I moved to Huntington Station, I needed to find a nice sandwich shop. Tried a few delis but then came across A&S. This is now my favorite take out joint. The sandwiches are phenomenal and so fresh tasting. Their roasted turkey and Swiss is a great example. Homemade. Real turkey, not turkey roll. Not salty but flavorful. With a nice dollop of mayo. Every order has been delicious. And when you go in there you see all this food! Different salads. Lasagna. Meatballs. Eggplant parm, mmm. Stromboli, yum. Even the broccoli will have you wanting a taste. There’s so many options. Even for vegetarians there is wonderful options. And they will make pretty much anything you want. And they also will have you set for a big family dinner. Fresh meats, bread(which goes fast), sauces…! Great service and everyone works their butt off. So glad I discovered this place."
"Ordered Italianhero, guy opened up a precut pack of meats and threw it on a hero. It wasn’t even Italian bread. Also ordered the antipasto salad. It was filled with an inch of oil and meat/cheese were all hard and dried out. Never going back. The original A&S was good, this one should close down."
"Went to A&S based on a recommendation from a colleague and glad that I gave it shot. They have plenty of fresh prepared food including pasta, meats, cheese, and other Italian grocery items. I was told they also have amazing sandwiches. I ordered the #1 A&S special and it was probably one of the best Italian sandwiches I ever had. It came with fresh mozzarella and roasted peppers on a fresh roll with a drizzle of balsamic, which sent it to a whole other level! I will def go back and try something else on their menu, next time I'm in Huntington area."
