"Ordered a premise panini that took half an hour to warm up. When I told the counter person that maybe they should warm up the panini machine before they open, she said, “Why? No one orders that anyway.” I said, “Why do you have them?” She shrugged. I asked for the manager and she pointed to an old guy who had been there the entire time “doing inventory”. I mentioned the issue with the wait and the machine being put on at opening and he gave me a blank stare and said thank you sarcastically. I asked him what was up with his attitude and he said that it is after the fact and there was nothing he could do!! I said, “you could apologize and be sincere and maybe offer me something for my trouble like a Diet Coke.” He just stared at me. And I said, “No wonder your employees do not know how to act. They get. I thing from you.” Really awful experience that almost ruined our nice day at the beach. Paninis were pretty awful and the bacon on my wrap was raw :( Jones Beach can do better!"

"Terrible choices of food. Poor execution of what could be a nice sit down multi food grab and go eatery. What this place could have been was like Pensy at NYC penn station. Go there and you’ll know what I mean. But instead this place is barren and uninspiring on the inside with limited options. From the outside you think wow. Let’s go inside. Disappointing on the inside. I can’t imagine no one realized this yet. Plus the food service and line was slow with minimal people in there. Can’t imagine what I busy day would be like. I go back in hopes they got their act together but not yet. Don’t understand what’s so hard. Maybe after the new zip line and reconstruction is completed by 2020."

"Totally new building. Raised quite a bit above the boardwalk. Everything made in New York State. No tables inside. Multiple terraces with tables. They have it set up in stations. Salad, Panini, Grill and Entree. Big canvas roof makes for a photographic ceiling. Some of the tables are in the shade. Right next to it is the sprinkler park. menu looks good. Food was good. I'll be back. Views are fantastic."
