"If I could rate zero stars I would. I totally understand everything is expensive and has gone up in price. But when does it become highway robbery where you are cheating your customers? I stopped into the bagel store on my way to work to pick up some bagels for my Staff. I bought 1 dozen bagels, 5 muffins, 3 small cream cheeses, large OJ, 16oz soda and at first she tried to charge me $120 and change but I questions the astronomical amount and she rerung it and it came out to $90 and change the second time. I feel as if she was cheating me. I did some research and both emporium bagels in Harrison and Lenny’s bagels in Rye Brook would have charged me $68 for the exact same items. That’s a huge difference in price! I can say without a doubt I will never step foot back into this bagel shop and I will be sure to tell my friends and family to avoid it"

"it’s not the type of place you go to and get amazing customer service .. it’s the place you go to if you want the best bagel you’ve ever ate in this area .. it’s just like going into a NYC bagel shop .. fast paced … your in and your out… but damn it’s worth it for the bagels… they could tell me to F-off while handing me my bagel and i would still go back … as for the price of the food .. it’s RYE, NY people .. what do you expect they are selling bagels and have to cover their rent and make money. you pay a little more but you get a better bagel ! i highly recommend but i wouldn’t go in there with the expectation you are going to be treated with sweet hello’s and five star customer service."

"Unfortunately, had a terrible experience here last weekend. We went late in the afternoon and were the only people in the shop. The staff seemed to have no idea what was going on, they were consulting the on the wall menu to figure out what we ordered. Regardless, there were multiple problems with both orders when we brought them home. Finally, I don’t mind paying extra given the location of the shop, but my turkey wrap was made with Kraft singles. For a $17 turkey wrap, I would expect real cheese."

"The bagels are good, but everytime i come here they make me wait for a Simple bagel toasted w CC. While i was there 3 ppl were assisted and got their orders way before i did and i was there first. They clearly pick and choose who gets fast servic and they are rude. I will not be giving my business to them anymore."

"Best bagels ever! Being from New York City, I compare everything to H&H and Essa, once you try, hand rolled bagels, you become obsessed! Prices are reasonable I’m not sure why there are any complaints here because I find the prices to be much more Fair than New York City. The spreads are incredible and I am addicted to the chicken salad even though that sounds like the strangest thing to say! I went to Rye hand rolled bagels prior to Covid, during Covid, and after Covid and found the staff to be unbelievably accommodating and very fast service. They have it down to a science to keep the line short. Recently I was staying in New York City, and the line at the competition was down the block over an hour long - that would never happen here."
