"Went here for my 2 year anniversary with my finance. The food was good, definitely the best part of our night. However the service was atrocious. Our server, Teresa, was inattentive and crass. At first we simply gave her the benefit of the doubt that she must've busy, so we ignored it. However as the night progressed, she began to try rush us out. It wasn’t even 9pm before our desserts were dropped and she dropped the check at the same time. My fiancé left to go to the bathroom right before our dessert came, and Teresa literally came over twice before my fiancé even came back to her seat, to try to grab the check. Within 12 minutes, she asked to take the check 5 times. After her fifth attempt, we asked for the manager to come over. And immediately after it, she asked if she could at least “take it first”. After calling the manager on the phone, she went over to what I believe was their server station near the bar, and was very clearly talking about us. She went as far to even point at us from across the room. At this point, I debated even leaving her a tip. But as both of us work in the same industry, we decided to still leave one. When we brought up everything to the manager when he stopped by, he was also dismissive and barely gave an apology. We weren’t expecting much. We didn’t want him or her to beg or do anything dramatic to make up for it. Neither were we asking for any kind of compensation or for them to comp/void any part of our bill. At that point we only wanted it brought to their attention. But instead we got a “Well, I’m sorry to hear that.”- as he walked away. He even tried to cut me off multiple times while I was explaining what happened. I’m not quite sure why they both acted they way they did, maybe they were having a bad night. But it was no excuse for them to ruin what should’ve been a special night for us. I used to love coming here, but that was a time before Covid. And this terrible experience was definitely one to remember."

"Really bad traffic so I decided to get off I 95 in Rye NY. What a great main street. Many restaurants. Looked in the windows and decided on ruby's. Was really good. I had some oysters and shared a seafood pasta dish. In and out in less than an hour then back on road and traffic was gone"

"Seems extremely overrated. Walked in off the street and after the greeter stressed about having no tables and doing me a favor by giving me a seat, I was put upstairs with 4 empty tables (lol). It's loud, it's crowded, its boring, its bland, and its a bit overpriced. NOTHING on the menu screamed out as a "must have". Definitely more of a bragging rights sort of place and a place to be seen. Best part of a tuna entree was the snow peas. Chicken entree was old and seasoned with boiled water. Fries were overcooked and fried tumbleweed (I think it was an onion) begged for Dr. Kavorkian. Also, feel free to throw your trash on the floor, everyone else does!"

"Went for brunch on Saturday. Ordered oysters which were so fresh and delicious! Eggs benedict with smoked salmon was just perfect to start the weekend. Bloody mary and mimosa were also good and refreshing. Great service and atmosphere. I will definitely come back here again. Thank you."
