916 Riverside

"This is the first year we ordered the Thanksgiving dinner from 916 Riverside. Our friend highly recommended it as she's been doing it for years. It was absolutely delicious! And we'll be back next year for sure. The only negative thing is the pick-up was more difficult than at tlother places we've ordered from in the past. I'm very happy my friend that recommended it was with me. She knew exactly where to go. There weren't any signs pointing the way or a sign in the door telling us where to go. Then once in the bar area there was no one spot for pick-up and only two bartenders waiting on customers. We went to the end of the bar and waited for one to be free to ask where we were supposed go. She said right here. As we were waiting there were other people coming in that obviously were also looking for where to go. I waved a few over to us. The poor bartender was so, so busy. But hey, it's Thanksgiving. To be expected. Maybe because our pick-up time was noon they weren't in a rhythm yet. And hopefully next year they'll block off 4-5 spots for Turkey Day pick-up orders near the bar and direct everyone in that door. We had to park far away as the restaurant was open for business and very busy. And the boxes were heavy to carry through the restaurant and then through the parking lot with no assistance. (At least for this 50+ year old.) And we each had to make two trips. But we will do it again either way. It was worth it in the end. Delicious food that the whole family loved. Happy Thanksgiving!"

"Great place to pull your boat up or even drive up.... hang out at the Tiki Bar. Plenty of tables and bar seats. Or dine in the restaurant for events. Get the soft shell crab sando, the clams, salads, haddock sando and pizzas. The burger was lacking and the meat tasted frozen along the mixed veggies. Overall, a fun place and great service. Prices are very reasonable and for drinks in plastic cup...their pretty good."

"Normally food is good, Sunday, not so much. Had surf and turf special ask for med, steak was well, sons chicken sandwich, chicken was like cook yesterday and reheated. I wa a chef for 30 years.. waitress asked how food was like 20 minutes in, so when offered to recook everyone else would be done, 3 salads total were ordered only 2 came out, I had to ask for mine, just all around bad experience. Sucks we usually love it , took my brother who has never been, and won't return...."

"My sister-in-law had her wedding here this past weekend. The venue is beautiful and staff was amazing! My husband and I will definitely be visiting again on the boat!"

"UPDATE: Oh how things change. We sat on the lawn for 3 1/2 hours waiting for fireworks. We bought food, some drinks and talked with some others that were also waiting to see the show. Then, 20 minutes before the show security decides to let the drunks in. They proceed to stand behind us, making rude comments, talking about how stoned they are, as loud as they possibly could. And when I said something to them, they decided they needed to come at me. And that's when security finally showed up. All of a sudden they were all quiet. Nothing was done, they weren't told to leave. In fact, my wife had had it at that point and we left. We will never go back. For any reason. Security is worthless at these events. You will not have a good time."
