"I came here to celebrate my birthday. The original plan was to come by myself but I decided to bring my daughter along. Having visited some years ago I already knew I loved it but I didn't expect my 14 year old daughter to enjoy it as much as she did. I assumed she'd appreciate a place with more action like a busy hotel, I was wrong. I had activities planned for us and she didn't even want to leave! My daughter isn't one to talk much and we got to talk a lot. Lots of magical bonding moments here. Last night before bed she came to my room and said "mom thanks for bringing me here" and gave me a hug. Made me tear up when I thought about it this morning. Best birthday gift ever! Melanie, the owner, is amazing. I probably annoyed her with all of my questions and requests but she was so patient and graceful. The home is clean, beautiful, peaceful. Too much to write. You have to experience it for yourself. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, you can't get any better than this."
