North Georgia Vacation Spots- Ellijay

"I've rented from this company previously but we rented Serenity Cabin recently 1/12/24 - 1/15/24 for our anniversary getaway we enjoyed the cabin itself but I couldn't use the main balcony at all due to door problems. The pool table was unbalanced and the upper room floor was full of long white dog hair due to poor cleaning. I am currently being treated from being bitten by either bed bugs,fleas or ticks at this cabin I didn't sit or lay anywhere out of the ordinary different from my other guest besides the Large chair in the main living room. I think the chair should be inspected and treated other than that I enjoyed my stay and the amenities and would book again..."

"We really enjoyed our stay at laughing hippo cabin at Cherry log. It was very cozy and the view was beautiful. Very nice place to stay we enjoyed the hot tub. It was our 10 year anniversary."

"We enjoyed our stay with North Georgia Vacation Spots at the Birds Eye View cabin! The cabin was well stocked and maintained and the view was lovely, but also convenient and easy to get to. North Georgia Vacation Spots was very responsive to all of my questions and easy to work with. We left behind some earbuds by mistake while we were checking out and they were happy to mail them home to us. Overall, we are very happy and satisfied with our experience and wouldn't hesitate to book with them again!"

"First and last time renting from this resort. My son wanted to go to the cabin for his graduation gift. He was expecting to use the amenities provided and advertised by the resort and own via Airbnb. We could not use any of them the entire four days we were there. We lost a whole day waiting on someone to pickup the trash that had been left over from the previous tenants and for a pool pass that was they never intended on giving us. It rook them an additional two days to pick up the trash. Granted Damien tried his hardest to assist us, but to no avail. Personally, I believe the reason we were denied was because the home owner and the HOA were at odds, but if that is the case then the owner should specify the renter will not have access to the pools, recreation center or tennis courts (the places my son was looking forward to going to while there). To add insult to injury, they offered us only 60.00 for our inconvenience. The taxes was more than that! A waist of almost 2000.00. I appreciate everything Damien tried to do for us, but this is unacceptable."

"I liked North GA Vacation Spots. Great rental selections. The online rental process was easy, the payment process was ideal, and convenient modes of communication. Great response time when I did need something. Self checkin was great. The cabin (Birds Eye View) itself was nice - the wood features and tin roof were absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful view. We really enjoyed the location - pretty close to town. The outdoor space for our dogs was a plus. We appreciated having access to the washer & dryer. The only thing I really didn't like was lack of simple amenities. It would have been nice to have access to an indoor fireplace on the main level as the basement wasn't the most convenient (the addition of an electric fireplace perhaps?) The lights in the hot tub didn't work, the strands of lights on the outdoor decks didn't work (some not at all, some only partially.) The game room was honestly disappointing and was 75% of the reason we chose the cabin. The air hockey table seemed like it was on it's last leg (the air wasn't as powerful as it should have been.) The arcade game didn't work at all. And the slot machine required quarters. More than one outdoor trash bin should be provided (I shouldn't have to call the office for another bin or trash pickup when only staying a few days.) We ran out of toilet paper during our stay and were so thankful we had some with us. The only firewood provided for the outdoor firepit were huge, heavy pieces of logs over by the backdoor. In actuality, we knew we would struggle to get them over to the fire pit & if we did manage to, they were too large to burn. In my opinion, a bundle of firewood should be included with the stay and stacked over at the firepit area for easy access. Lastly, and most importantly, the cabin was NOT clean. Especially not to COVID standards. Luckily, my family and I work in healthcare/at a school and brought cleaning supplies with us. We wiped every frequently touched surface and light switch before even unpacking. Overall, we really enjoyed the cabin but also believe ourselves to be simple people that can make the best of anything. Not many people can do that - I recommend improving on the above to make future stays more enjoyable. With all that being said, my time with family and the beautiful view made it all worth it & I would stay again."
