"Title: Mixed Bag of Experiences at Clayton State University Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ My time at Clayton State University has been a rollercoaster of experiences, leading me to a neutral three-star rating. While there were certainly positive aspects, some issues with certain teachers left a mark on my overall impression. On the bright side, I made great friends and had a memorable time at Clayton State. The campus is aesthetically pleasing, and the student community is generally friendly. I particularly enjoyed exploring the variety of delicious food spots around the campus, adding a flavorful touch to my college experience. However, I must acknowledge that the academic journey was not without its challenges. Some teachers seemed determined to make it their mission to fail students, which created an unnecessary hurdle in the learning process. It's essential to note that this issue appears to be more teacher-specific than reflective of the university as a whole. Despite the academic challenges, I appreciate the efforts of the university in creating a welcoming and vibrant campus environment. The majority of students are friendly, contributing to a positive atmosphere. In conclusion, Clayton State University has its strengths and weaknesses. While the campus and student community offer a pleasant experience, there is room for improvement in addressing certain academic challenges. I hope the university continues to strive for excellence in all aspects of the student experience."
"I had an advisor who failed me. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and I was almost finished with my degree. I wasn't aware I could have received accommodations. I ended up getting overwhelmed and dropping all my classes last min even tho I was passing. I wasn't well and in a stressful home environment. I told her this but she just treated me like I was entitled. There are some amazing professors here."
"Clayton State is a very disorganized institution. If you are looking to send your child here for post secondary education please consider other options. please save yourself the frustration of the administrative staff not knowing anything and being dismissive and rude. Literally any other school is better for you."
"I can honestly say attending this school was one of my biggest mistakes. Advisement isn't helpful at all when it comes to putting you on the correct path for graduation. No one ever picks up the phone or answers any emails. Good luck coming here. May God be with you all."
