"Just wanted to share a true "heartfelt" first time experience I had last week with Dr.O'Brien and her staff. Not being a client, I had retrieved two injured bluebirds who were in the middle of the roadway in our subdivision, that were entangled after fighting, with ones leg and claws embedded in the others wing. They were both alive with no other obvious signs of trauma and were desperately just trying to free themselves. I initially took them to the Lenoir City Animal clinic where I was ( but no longer will be) a client. after bringing them inside with several vets currently on staff. I was advised that they were "too busy and would likely just euthanize them" due to not really working with wild animals. I then took them to Dr.O'Brien's office on her surgery day albeit, where she agreed to at least look at them. Within five minutes she freed both of them and I was then able to release them in the park a short time later with no issues. Says quite a bit about the morality and ethics one office and vet has, when compared to another just down the roadway. Its more than just freeing two bluebirds from what likely would have been their demise in the middle of a roadway and says the utmost for her character and values doing something "pro-bono" during what I'm sure was a most busy day! She is a true humanitarian and would highly recommend her for all your pets needs, if nothing else, based on the compassion she showed to two wild birds that were allowed to live at least another day!"

"Dr O’Brien saved our kittens life. Without her we wouldn’t have our precious Isabella. She went above and beyond to figure out what was wrong with her and treated both conditions. Today, she’s a happy cat and doing good."

"My dog has an auto immune disease which can hit pretty hard and fast so since I am in the process of moving out here I keep him with me. I was getting ready to head back and get another load of stuff and his body starting scabbing up and his jaw quit working. I needed help. My old vet didn't want to send a prescription without him being seen because his condition is pretty severe so I called about 15 vets in the area looking for a same day appointment and there happened to be one at this vet... totally by chance. Now, I currently have 4 dogs and 7 cats, and I've had dogs and cats all my life so I know vets... the vet I saw, I believe it was Dr O'Brien, is the most knowledgeable doctor I have ever met. I have had vets who meant well, and went above and beyond to truly help, I have had wonderful educated help from specialty vets, but the interaction with this doctor at this vet consolidated all the information and knowledge that I have gathered from several other professionals and my own research into one person... and everyone was very kind and helpful. Definitely found my forever vet for our entire menagerie."

"This practice have an ethical problem. My father in law took his dog for a teeth cleaning. They told him he probably have to get a few teeth taking out due to issues. After they started working on him, they called him and told him his fog have have about 20 teeth taking out and cost $1500. He okayed the procedure. When he picked him up, they had taking 11teeth. They told him to come back in a week to finish the rest. Dr did not come out and talked him about what went on. After he took him home his dog was not acting right, but he figured due to the procedure he must been hurting, a few days later he started bumping into things and he stands still and etc... He acted like he dose not see at all. So he called the Dr's office. All they told him was he was not blind when he was there. There is no explanation what went on during the procedures. Dr has never talked to him every time he stopped by and try to get his dog's medical records. They would not release it. They kept saying Dr have to review it before she can give him a copy. He was furious, but he is not the type of person to proceed legal isdues. The time passed, he decided to go to other vet because he dose not want to take his dog to place like this again. He needs medical records, so new vet has base line for the future. The new vet called them, they gave some excuse that they cannot release the records. This is against the regulations. We will be filing complains to the state health department. We had to go back and get the records, but they gave us excuse they lost it and such.. still Dr did not come out and talked to us. The way they are behaving, they have muse done something wrong. We recommend no one takes their beloved animals there. Very unethical place."
