MinuteClinic at CVS

"Booked and paid for a DOT physical online. After completing the the physical and having the physician fill out my paper work I sent it to my employer. I was then told it wasn't the correct physical exam. I called the clinic back and was told I got a regular physical because I only paid $89. I booked a DOT physical, and told everyone at the office thats what I needed. Why would they give me a regular physical? Now I have to pay again elsewhere since they won't fix their mistake."

"My visit happened today as a result of very poor service at Rex Urgent care in Knightdale. Nurse was pleasant and professional. She explained what the wait time was likely going to be, then she was right on time. I was checked thoroughly, written a prescription, and I was on my way."

"Let me start by saying I have never felt passionate enough to write a review, but boy oh boy do I have one now and I apologize it may be long. I have been to his specific minute clinic twice. I was seen by a physician after a very long wait, who quite frankly did not know what she was doing., this woman did not know how to take my blood pressure and the cuff kept falling off. I paid almost 200 dollars for this visit which included 140 for the visit and 40 for a urine culture to be sent off. Fast forward 3 days and I never hear about my culture so I attempt to call them and find they don't have a phone number (from the pharmacy). I was told I would receive a call before hand but the pharmacy told me I have to come in AGAIN to get my results. I go in and there is a TWO HOUR WAIT, no exaggeration. I was not even taken into the office and was then told the results from my visit, not the results from my culture through the door. The woman told me she didn't know and would have to see me after she was done with everyone... I asked if she could call me with the results and she said yes and closed the door on me. I understood that she was busy with other patients but The woman did not have ANY of my contact information or even my name because she had cleared my visit. I never received a call and refuse to go back in and wait 2 hours again to not be told my results. In all honesty please avoid this place. even if you do not have insurance please go to another urgent care as they are around the same price."

"If you want true honest results as to what may be wrong with you - then don't waste your time going to a MinuteClinic. I don't think they really have a true understanding of health problems, I start to think they just make up things. They never prescribe antibiotics and always tell you to buy the most expensive medicine in CVS. I came in to CVS with a cough that I had had for a good week or so, they told me that I had a cold only to find out 2 weeks later I had something more serious. Doubt I will be back to a minute clinic, don't want to waste my time and money."
