"Tastiest Hispanic spot in a good radius. Serving size is good. Quality is very good. I recommend this place to anyone who wants really good street tacos. One downfall is the chips are overcooked and had better. But do not let that stop you from visiting. Parking is minimal and the place s fills up for lunch."

"My husband and I love to come to Chapulines. The service has always been wonderful and the food is even better. We walked in today and this was displayed on the counter. I was informed that it was so brand new, there wasn’t even a name for it yet. Whatever the name it is given, it was pure yummy-ness! "Having moved to E. Tennessee from N. California 11 years ago, we've always been on the hunt for "real" Mexican food (as opposed to Tex-Mex, no offense intended). Having found Chapulines in Alcoa, our search has successfully concluded; excellent food at very reasonable prices, carefully prepared in a clean and welcoming place by very friendly folks (especially Betty). I know that traditional street tacos don't seem like they'd be that big of a deal, but we've had so many poor examples over the last decade, we felt like celebrating We will be returning soon!"
"Stopped in to get two steak burritos last night at Chapulines. The service was very friendly and fast. The burritos are $10.00 and are massive. I got steak, rice, pinto beans, cheese and sour cream. It was pretty good and the quantity is large. I liked it but it wasn't fantastic. The steak was good but the burrito had a lot of rice. Excellent beans and a nice large flour tortilla. I'm going back to try some tacos and would reccomend this place as the prices are fair. The new location on Lamar Alexander is opening soon. So being on my way home I'll give this place another try."
