Grooming & Parrot Emporium

"We brought our Mini Schnauzer in to be groomed a number of times. We appreciated the convenience and the flexibility on appointment times. With each appointment, our Mini Schnauzer became increasingly timid and anxious. This is a picture of him after the last time we ever took him to Grooming & Parrot Emporium. He was not the same cheerful pup when we picked him up - his coat was ridiculously short and his nipples had been shaved off and there were cuts along the inside of his ears. There was dried blood all along his belly. He was absolutely traumatized. It took weeks for his personality and physical appearance to recover. Since, we have taken him to a groomer who has been so patient in helping our Schnauzer in regaining trust and the ability to have a successful trip to the groomer."

"Awesome and patient people! My dog was dirty, covered in fleas, knots upon knots, pooped all over when I dropped him off and had never been cut so he was VERY UGLY. But they loved my dog just as any other and prices for this mess was very reasonable. We will be back for his next trim!"

"I've taken my Pekingese here several times now, and I wouldn't take him anywhere else. They take extremely good care of him, and he always comes home looking very handsome. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, answer any questions I may have, and truly care about the comfort and well-being of the dogs. I took my dog here for his very first haircut as a little puppy, and they told me that he was tenacious. Nonetheless, they did the best they could because they cared about my dog having a positive first grooming experience. He did a lot better the second time around. Now, He always comes home clean, good-looking, and very happy. Very highly recommended! Again, I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else in town."

"~well sounds like i must have been at a different place than the other reviews. i have had my schnauzer there numerous times and she hates it. she wants out of there so bad when we go through the front door. i tried going back this last time for one last try and it will be my last. after her groom and btw I have pictures before and after, i had to take her immediately to the vet and have them examine her eye. she had a contusion in her left eye from either hitting something, on her own or something hitting her. not sure how that could happen. $112.00 later from the vet, we come home with swollen left eye, blood red, ears chapped and bleeding from where they ripped out her hair in her ears, which was totally unacceptable. ( i sure wouldn't want it done to me, in that way) a little at a time would have been okay but, she has not been herself since that visit. i will never take her there again. bottom line!!!!!"

"I have been going to this place for years, they are wonderful with all of my pups and my cat! They took great care to introduce grooming to them and they actually love it! I will never go anywhere else :)"
