"Came to walk the trail with my dog. It’s dog friendly on leash. There’s a boat launch. Decent size parking lot, free of charge, no parking fee. Closed after dark 10pm-7am. The lower trail loop is unpaved and wooded, the upper loop is paved. Total about 2 miles if you do both loops."

"Very nice dirt trail along the edge of the lake. I go very early in the morning and let my two dogs go swimming before others arrive. Also, several beautiful paved trails inland fron the lake."

"Great location and beautiful lake! Sites tend to be set up a little backwards with utilities on opposite side so you don't open to lake views. Nice shade!"

"We had an awesome time tubing and kayaking through the area. I will say that it was a bit more stressful with the kayaks just because we had to be more cognizant of not getting too close to the motor boats. Other than that, we really enjoyed it. There are some picnic tables fairly close to the area so it would not be a place to eat lunch after a day on the lake."
