"Needed to grab a bite on the way home. Found this place and wasn't disappointed... plenty of parking and the place seemed popular with the local crowd. The catfish was great."
"My wife got Philly Cheese Steak & fries. Sandwich was a little salty, but she said she'd try it again. I got the pulled pork platter with baked beans and broccoli. It was okay, but I didn't really like the sauce. Service was outstanding. Good explanations, accurate order taking and delivery. Bathrooms need good cleaning."
"It's the second time i have been to Michael's....after several attempts to find a good steak in Athens I came upon this place ...the big ribeye is great I have had it twice now both times cooked and seasoned perfectly with a baked potato green beans and a salad it was beautiful and the price was definitely right.....but I have to mention the kid that waited on us both times was a very cool and went beyond the call of duty to make sure our orders were perfect ....I think his mame was shamus...sorry if I butchered it bud....but I think that was it he was great ask for him he's a sweet kid working his way though school....so for the best steak in Athens this is my choice and u have tried them all ....trust me"
"Went here on a roll of the dice. We'll definitely be back. I got a chef salad and my friend got the brisket sandwich. The salad portion was great, with the right ratio of ingredients. The brisket sandwich platter looked great. I got a sample of the meat and it was so good."
"In town for our girls trip to do the Hiwassee Loop Train Excursion. Family that lives nearby recommended this place and it did not disappoint. Our waiter was so kind and friendly and gave great suggestions on what to try. The boneless wings and sweet potato fries were mouthwatering and delicious. We also shared the trio platter of ribs, brisket and pulled pork. We will definitely be back when we are in the area again."
