"I wish I had a picture to share, but my whole family devoured everything as soon as we got it home. We tried 6 different empanadas and the rice and beans. We were fighting over who got which ones after we tried them all. I have two young (very picky!) kiddos who loved everything as well! I can honestly say this is in my top 5 of favorite places to eat in Knoxville. Jamie was incredibly friendly and the customer service was amazing. We can’t wait to come back!"

"Don't miss this charming little gem on Chapman Hwy in Colonial Village! We finally got to try the food at Nadas Empanada for the first time this evening, and it definitely will not be our last visit. Husband chose a potato and chorizo empanada, and I had beef and cheese, which was fresh out of the fryer. We shared a generous portion of rice and beans, and the Cinnamon Apple empanada for dessert. EVERYTHING was delicious! Another reviewer mentioned that the prices seemed high, but we all know you get what you pay for. It was evident that this lovely lady uses fresh and high quality ingredients. I also like that she uses local ingredients as much as she can. That is a win-win for our community. Welcome this yummy new eatery to SoKno and support them with your business."

"Just tried three of her empanadas- beef, chicken, and chorizo & potato. My husband and kids have been trying to find delicious, authentic empanadas, and all three were very good. Highly recommend stopping by, we will be back during the week for dinner to try her meals! :)"

"I was driving back home on Chapman Hwy and out of the corner my eye I see a little cute neon sign that said empanadas, so I turn around real quick because umm, hello empanadas do I need to say more? So, I stop in but unfortunately, they weren't open, mind you the open sign wasn't on just the neon sign. The owner was just in doing a custom order and apologized for the mishap. I returned the next weekend and I'm so glad I did. The owner and I had a laugh about the previous time I came in, she is so sweet and friendly, and you can tell she loves what she does and takes pride in that. I went later in the afternoon, and she was out of the beef ones but let me know it wasn't a big deal for her to fry some up for me if I wanted her to. I first declined and then she offered again and said it was her top seller, so I took her up on the offer and I'm so glad I did. The beef one has so much flavor I wish I would have gotten more than two! I also tried the cheese, chicken and cheese, chorizo and potato, and apple and cinnamon. She also had breakfast ones available and another dessert like one as well. They were all delicious and filled with a ton of flavor. I'm not sure if they change the menu weekly or stick to the same ones but excited to come back and see. They have a small little parking lot and also a table inside if you decide you want to eat in. There are drinks and chips available to purchase and she also mentioned she might or is doing meals on certain days so I'm looking forward to trying that sometime!"
