"All merchandise is up to date, very organized beautifully, owner is hands down the most generous woman I have ever met. She is an absolute sweetheart. She is very hands on and makes sure to show you all of the sales going on, etc. just an all around great experience and wonderful business. "Fantastic and friendly shuttle service for our bikes. Cannot recommend enough. Got in touch with one of the owners (Paul) by messaging on Instagram. Responded right away and called me to arrange the details. Paul was super friendly and easy to work with. Very flexible day of too as our plans changed (both timeline and shuttle location) due to rain. Kept him updated on our plans over text and he was very communicative. Picked us up at our desired location in Galax (the creek bottom brewery is excellent!), loaded our bikes on for us and drove us back to our car near Fries. Paul was super friendly on the drive back and we chatted about other great outdoor hikes and adventures in the area - he knows his stuff! In the end we paid $50 for 2 bikes and 2 people which is what made it possible for us to bike 16 miles along the beautiful New River Trail to Galax so thank you!!!"
"Exceeded expectations by a mile. Rented an e-bike for 3 days. The owners came in 3 nights after they were closed to store and charge the e-bike I rented and did the same for my son who owns an e-bike"
"We rented brand new Premium E-Bicycles , and had a great afternoon on the trail, The shop is less than a mile from the entrance to the trail,the owners are fantastic, they responded quickly to our inquiries,and the transactions were quick and easy. Highly recommended!"
"I visited New River Trail Outfitters on a Saturday. There is street parking available. They offer tshirts and outdoor wear. Some gear for outdoor sports. They also have stickers for sale for those of you who collect. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You can rent bikes here! If you are wanting to sample the new river trail you can get a bike here. They have recently gotten electric bikes. These are not rentable yet but the cashier said would be available for rent soon and it is in the works."
