"First and foremost I must say this review does not apply to H. S, P.A or any of the nurses, and infusion staff. They have been nothing but compassionate, empathic and welcoming. H.S, P.A, is an angel on earth. I have never met a more intellingent, caring, supportive provider. H.S. help me at a point when I was not diagnosed yet and the pain was excruitating. H.S, P.A is irreplaceable and has made an incredible difference in my life. I would like to let you know what has brought me to the 1 star review. I called the office for 5 days with a weekend in between asking for guidance on a biologic medication. I was told I would receive a call back each time. Being new to the medication I was very concerned how missing a dose would effect my progess. I continued to call the office, asking for a return call from a nurse. I was told they did not have a nurse available. Long story short, I received a certified letter stating I am no longer able to be seen at the office. Yes, I admit, I was frustrated with each response and was not cordial in my conversation. However when you are met with staff that are not actively listening, talking over your questions, feeling belittled at the urgency of your question and lack of empathy it concerns me that I am not the only one feeling this way. After reading the reviews, I can see I am not the only one. I can only hope that the CEO of AOA with consider the reviews regarding the front office staff and educate them on active listening, and possibly some terminiology of certain medications ,so the urgency is understood. Hopefully teachable monments, training and education for the staff will prevent another doctor patient relationship being severed. RA is a relentless, finding a doctor who understand the process and takes away your pain is as close to God you can have on earth. Having a person take that away, without hearing the patients side is also is devasting. Thank you"

"I am a big fan of Dr. Fischkoff. He is brilliant and very kind and listens. I found relief from my arthritis with him. If I need to be seen in a day or two due to a flare I have used Hajeema the PA and she is terrific. Highly recommend this group."

"I have been a patient of Dr Sasinowska for the past 2+ years. I have seen other Rheumatologists but they were awful. Dr. Sasinowska listens to your thoughts and makes decisions with you, not for you. She is open to different treatments and does offer her thoughts on holistic approaches as well. I feel like she cares. She is kind and thorough. I would recommend her!"

"Firstly, this is one of the most efficient offices I've ever dealt with. They never screw anything up. The office staff is so kind and accommodating, they're always polite and friendly, and get you taken care of quickly. That can really make a difference, in my opinion. Secondly, I am under treatment by Dr. James Fischkoff. He's one of the most capable physicians I've been treated by. He's very knowledgeable about my condition, which is apparently somewhat rare. He's a very friendly guy, and very compassionate. But what I like best is that he takes the time to explain what's going on, how he plans on treating me, so I never leave the office with unanswered questions. I see the Doctor every three months or so, with in-between visits if necessary. I feel very well taken care of, and I appreciate the excellent service from start to finish. Thanks!"
