"I took my 95-year-old aunt . 3 years ago she went to Cahill’s location in Hackensack for a gel treatment to her knee. This office location in Paramus the entire staff, including the front desk reception and the nurses no one has any bedside manner or personality Dr. Michael Distefano Should retire. He basically dismissed my aunt because she’s 95. Didn’t even ask her any questions. It was marked on the chart that we were there for a knee injection. He said it was not safe due to studies coming out that it could cause infections due to the partial implant in her leg. He said three years ago he sad she was lucky. She never had any issues, and if we didn’t trust his opinion, go ahead and see Cahill. He was so rude and dismissive. Basically he felt she was 95, so why is she complaining about knee pain!! He then told her to take aspirin three times a day. When I asked why would she need that if the pain is only at night, he said well, then only take it at night. He didn’t even look at her chart to see all of her medicine to realize that she probably should not be taking any more aspirin. The office staff heard me say to her don’t worry, I’ll take you for another opinion, and then they just I should us out the door without anyone seeing a word. Myself, siblings and friends, all go to Ridgewood orthopedics is a fFabulous office everyone treats everyone Nothing like this office"
