"I waited over 1.5 hours to be seen by Dr. Seri Kwon. The time in the room I asked the nurse multiple times if there was an update - as I could've rescheduled (I only had childcare for a limited time that day). I kept being assured 15 minutes more, 20 minutes more, etc. Finally I was seen by Dr. Seri Kwon 5 minutes AFTER the office hours are closing. Not only did the doctor say we could do my yearly physical in 5 minutes, but had no idea I had done bloodwork etc, had no idea what I was here for. At this point I was frustrated but I understand, things happen. I asked if we could do the appointment another time because I work for my insurance and would like my ONCE A YEAR physical to be less than an afterthought. Dr. Kwon agreed and said she'd mark it as such and I should call and schedule. Lo and behold 3 months and multiple calls later she billed it to my insurance as my yearly physical and I have an out of network charge for a an additional annual physical....for being seen for 3 minutes. The office staff at park medical Tenafly has left the bill unsettled with the actual parent company...and I am stuck sitting with a monthly bill for poor quality care. Careless and frankly unethical on her part, I have never felt like a check to any other doctor. So now I cannot get my yearly physical, and am stuck dealing with customer service. I have never written a review before but this is just beyond frustrating. Imagine being billed, and then given extra work, for a service you work for and did not receive."

"Was called 10 minutes before my appointment to say Michelle wouldn’t be seeing me or refilling my psych meds bc she hasn’t seen me in a while- yes that’s why I was coming in so we could speak in person and come up with a plan bc I wanted a new Dr or nurse practitioner for that. She didn’t even call herself but has nurse call and said she didn’t know why so I said can you please ask....didn't even ask if I was coming in for anything else, which I was (allergies). I was a patient of hers in the past too so I dont get why she just couldn't see me to talk with me? So unprofessional and won’t go back."

"Doctors here are all amazing, patient, and kind. However, the girls that work front desk/reception continuously ruin the experience of coming here. Rude, constantly interrupt, incredibly impatient and will hang up before questions are answered. In person, many times they look like they don't want to be bothered and glare at you. It's the same with the Fort Lee location as well. It's a shame since the medical staff are all so nice."

"I’ve been a patient here for decades. The weak link has always been the office staff and systems ( compared to other busy practices) but in the past year it’s reached a new low. On several occasions It has taken me several days to book an appointment because My chart generally has nothing available for weeks and the “ appointment “ line takes you to a service who take your info and THEN several hours later you get a call back from the person who can book the appt. . If you happen to miss that call-back because…well you’re in the shower, have a job where you cannot answer, then you get a message to call them back and you go back to the “ appt line “ which is really just an answering service and start all over. . If you’re condition is not life threatening but emergent , you might like me end up in an ER when an office visits may have avoided this. Even the answering service is frustrated - I got an earful from one of their call center “ staff this morning. The other issue I have with the office is that they no longer assist you in specialist referrals- you might get a name but that’s it. In the past , if imaging or another test was urgent , they assisted. The docs and ANP here are generally pleasant and competent although not all of the caliber of Bruennquell , Klein who are excellent diagnosticians. My sons doc Joanna Blanco is lovely and a good PCP. I’m hoping one of the partners reads these reviews and quickly makes some changes."
