"We’ve been here for almost a decade. We loved Dr Hyung. We’ve been seeing Dr. Paisner for the last few years. He’s nice enough but he will overtalk you alone he’s a bit condescending when it comes to alternative treatments or diagnoses that he is unfamiliar with. My son has Lyme disease and he told me it wasn’t real and that the Lyme doctors are quacks. I’m sure some of them are, but dismissing the diagnosis out of hand when millions of people currently suffer from it is ignorant and shows a lack of continuing education on his part. He also hurt my child’s feelings and she doesn’t want to go back. During a well visit he told her that she was short for her age and probably would never grow past 5’1”. She’s 14, still going through puberty, and already feels self-conscious about being the smallest amongst her friend group, and he only reinforced her insecurity. Not to mention that he was flat out wrong. He’s a bit of a know it all who doesn’t know much. If your chil has a mild issue, sure, he’s good enough for a quick fix. But anything chronic or serious, go elsewhere. We are."

"I was a patient of this practice as a child from birth until I was 22. I liked it so much I didn’t want to leave and get an adult doctor! I am an adult now, expecting my own child, and if I lived closer, I would be going to Montclair Pediatrics. I am also a RN. From a clinical/medical standpoint, they have excellent bedside manner, they take the time to really examine their patients, and they truly care about your child’s overall well-being. Between the two doctors they have decades of experience and really know what they are doing. They are the best pediatricians around. They always take the time to explain and answer questions and they have you and your child’s best interest front and center always. You are truly treated like family when you come to this practice."

"We have always had positive experiences here. Dr. Paisner also has picked up on things we needed to get checked out. We have gotten sick appointments the same day, wonderful referrals for specialists and reasonable advice for normal kid concerns."

"Our son was mostly relaxed with Dr. Paisner. He was rational and analytical in describing his answers to our questions. I see other reviews saying it was a difficult experience with him, but I saw nothing of the sort. I imagine his personality type just isn't some people's cup of tea."

"As a 6 month pregnant woman starting my search here for a pediatrician here, I was really disappointed with judgement and condescension that I received from one of the doctors in the practice, Dr. Paisner. I went in to speak with Dr Rigtrup, who I have heard good things about, but then had the unfortunate luck of meeting his babbling and unpleasant partner. He was incredibly rude and arrogant, making so many assumptions about me in this 20 minute talk. He indicated that it was below him to be asked questions about the practice, and that I had wasted his time, but when I asked if the group provided any information about the practice on a website, like an FAQ page, he said no. He also acknowledged that he was short with me and that he spoke over me on numerous occasion so probably I wouldn't be a good fit. I agree."
