"Well, The 4.9 Doesn’t even tell the FULL STORY. They deserve a 5.0! I’ve been a pt of Dr. Mazzella when it was Town Medical & it was just Dr. Mazzella & his 2 partners. That was 15yrs ago. He and his partners worked tirelessly to hire the right compassionate, smart, friendly & receptive staff. Dr. Mazzella is Still my Dr & He is so compassionate, so caring, he goes above and beyond for me. At 49 I’m in End Stage Heart Failure, and I’ve been worked on by the Top in the Country, but I’ll take Dr.Mazzella Vanguard Medical Group as they work together to ensure compassionate, responsible,respectful & swift care. The staff is like none other, there’s No such thing as you waiting for more than a day or two if you need a PA for a test or procedure or Medication. They have 2 labs right there to take bloodwork, also, connected is a Satellite office of Montclair Radiology! How helpful is that! If you may have broken something you can immediately get X-rays, pneumonia, anything. They can take care of pretty much anything but CT Scans & MRI’s as it’s Not that big, but They Chose to attach to Vanguard Medical due to its Drs, Nurses, Patient Care Reps & Staff. There is absolutely NO Better Care ANYWHERE!!! They open @ 7a-9p M-F & are even open on Saturday & Sunday!! How is that Not catering to their patients who may need to be seen before or after work or on the weekend. Of course they have Both Emergent & Non Emergent Telemedicine Calls available 7 days a week. There is Nothing more that you could ask for. Phenomenal Physicians, and a Phenomenal Office staff that as stated ensures that your needs are taken care of. I will be going to them and with Dr Mazzella for as long as I’m here, they Do have specialists of every kind as well. There’s Absolutely No reason to go Anywhere else. I Highly Recommend them."

"While my experiences being AT the office during appointments and checkups have been great and the staff were polite and respectful, scheduling appointments has been a nightmare the past few months. I'd schedule an appointment, wait a few weeks or so for it to come up, and then it'd be cancelled a few hours before the time it's scheduled for. Then I'd call back to reschedule, get told that the office will call back later, and receive no response for the next few days. Then the cycle repeats. I've been in horrible pain for months and have not been able to see my doctor for it. It's been over a month since I was last told I'd be called back. I have to find another doctor now without any referrals if I want to get rid of the pain."
