"This doctor is a crock. The office is a falling apart dump. My child has been seeing him for years. Dr. Wapshare used to be great. He was in a practice with a few other doctors, but he had some issues and separated from them. That's when his practice started going down hill. Several years ago, my son was supposed to get the vaccination for meningitis. Dr. Wapshare refused to give it to him, stating he didn't really need it until college. Well, the laws have now changed, and my son's school sent home a letter saying my son would no longer be allowed to attend school if he didn't get this vaccination now. My son had already had his physical for the year, so I thought we could just get the shot; not the case. Dr. Wapshare's office refused to give my son the shot unless they could give him a second physical - which they told me my insurance would not pay for. I made an appointment and brought the copy of my son's physical, along with a script from his current doctor (who unfortunately doesn't carry the shot) for this vaccination. They still refused to give him this mandatory vaccination, despite proof of a physical and a prescription, unless they could charge me for a second, unnecessary physical. I had to leave, and as of right now my son still doesn't have the vaccination. They are only out for money, and clearly don't worry about patient care. Horrible, dirty office with rude staff and a perverted doctor. If I could give 0 stars I would."
