"I spent an hour and a half there yesterday attempting to get a prescription filled for my disabled husband. He had extensive dental work in the morning and was in dire need of the medication. The pharmacist Ms. Devaki Balepur immediately questioned the signature of the doctor on the prescription. I called the doctor's office and was told that THAT is his signature .He signs every document the same exact way. Ms. Devaki Balepur would not recognize this dire situation situation. I left my husband to get the medications. The original CVS accepted the one prescription that they were able to fill. I had to travel another 1/2 hour in order to get this second prescription filled. Ms. Devaki Balespur insisted that she needed an E-script from the doctor and I told her that this doctor does not participate in the E-script program. Ms Devaki Balepur even lied to the CVS customer service representative when I asked them to call her. She knew I was not going anywhere so she told the representative that she saw "red flags" in the prescription. Ms. Devaki Balepur NEVER NEVER NEVER mentioned "red flags". She lied. This is about the CVS pharmacist who stood behind the counter with her assistant and laughed and giggled as I kept telling her about my desperate situation. I told her about the dental work that my husband had. I told Ms. Devaki Balepur about my husband. A proud Marine who lost his arm in Vietnam when he was 19 years old. I told Ms. Devaki Balepur about the three Purple Hearts that he received. I told her that he was now home alone for 4 to 5 hours without the much needed medication. I told Ms. Devaki Balepur this time after time after time as I paced back and forth in front of the CVS counter. Ms Devaki Balepur continued to ignore me and giggle with her assistant. By the way, I asked her assistant her name and she refused to give it to me. Interesting. I made three calls to the CVS customer assistance phone number. No one could convince her to help me out. Ms. Devaki Balepur did not offer any help. Not once did she say ------Let's see what I can do. Or I see that you are upset about your husband and I totally understand. Or perhaps i can look into finding a resolution. An hour and a half later Me. Devaki Balepur asked that I hand the prescription back so SHE could call the doctor. She could not make that call. They were closed for lunch. And where was her insistence on needing the E-script? All of a sudden she fills the prescription. Not one word of apology. Not one word about the hour and a half that I spent walking back and forth in front of the CVS counter telling Ms. Devaki Balepur about my husband who desperately needed this medication. NOT ONE WORD. Ms. Devaki Balepur ------cold hearted, uncaring, no kindness, no empathy, no understanding, no reaching out to me------the desperate woman who was sick with worry about her Marine husband. This is the type of employee that CVS has chosen to hire. Ms. Devaki Balepur did not even say that she was sorry to put me through hell for an hour and a half. NOT ONE WORD. Ms. Devaki Balepur had all the time to sit and giggle with her assistant but no time to apologize to me. This was a view into a woman with no heart and no soul. Not one ounce of kindness. This was the hour and half moment that I needed someone --- anyone to understand my pain and worry about my husband. Ms. Devaki Balepur was a total absolute failure. A real disgrace of a way to take care of a desperate customer who simply wanted to get back home with the necessary medications for her husband. A real disgrace."
