"Made a reservation here for brunch with friends while we were in town. Excellent, delicious food! My friend especially liked the mushroom vegan sandwich. We also shared the plate of fries for the table."

"Had a DELICIOUS brunch here — everything was excellent. I would highly recommend the Hangover Egg Sandwich with an order of fries to share (the dips were great). There were other sandwiches I was also considering so would love to come back to try more!"

"I have been coming here for years. I always thought it was a nice place to stop and get a decent lunch. No more. Under new management the food quality has fallen off a cliff. I stopped and had a BLT two days ago. I have been eating BLTs for over 40 years and have never been served one this awful before. It was inedible. The tomatoes, 2 skimpy slices, were totally unripe and this is in late August, prime season. The bacon was dry and cold. The lettuce was brown and wilted. The bread was stale and way too thick. This for $16. My wife’s salad was only marginally better but was at least edible. I’m really sorry to have to post this report but it was so bad I feel people should be warned."

"Homespun is such a great place- us Beaconites are so lucky to have them here. It is perfect place to meet a friend for lunch or your take your family for Brunch. When they did dinner it was a great place to catch up with friends or have a quiet date night. One of the best lunch and breakfast places in Beacon- the food is fantastic- they put a lot of effort into creating unique seasonal flavor combinations. The food is more sophisticated than your average cafe in the Hudson and they deliver great food and service consistently. The wine and beer lists are as thick as a small Bible! Drink prices are surprisingly affordable compared to eating out in the city- they also offer a few tasty Mocktail options and non alcoholic drink options which is super nice to have as an option- their back garden patio is the best outdoor dining in Beacon- a dog friendly outdoor dining options for the whole family. Highly recommend!"

"The food was great but the black coffee wasn’t great. It had that oily residue that comes when you haven’t properly cleaned the coffee machine in the long time. We had a delicious brunch with all sorts of yummy dishes, so I definitely suggest getting breakfast. Service was…leisurely. Garden is really beautiful and nothing but vibes, but it’s not wheelchair accessible because there is a step down. It’s a really unnecessary step that could be easily fixed with a ramp. If they install a ramp in the back and clean the coffee pot, it’s 5 stars."
