"I had new window construction done by Mr Handyman. The experience was professional from beginning to end. The girls (Miritza) in the office get a big shout out for keeping things on track. I love the fact that they show up when they say they are going to. For this you will pay a premium but you will have peace of mind. I had new window construction on my house that was built in 1900. That means plaster and lathe walls. So of course we did run into a small issue with the way my house was framed. At that time they used what they call balloon framing...meaning there is nothing between the first floor and second floor. My guy had to frame it out put a header on the top and the bottom and build it out really tight and secure. I have no doubt that this window will last a very long time. Yes I could have gotten it done for cheaper but would the cheaper guys have just thrown in the window without caring about the issue with the framing and then in a year or two my house starts sagging at the roof line. That could have been disastrous. I will never know for sure but I am happy with the job Mr. Handyman did.....even though it did go above my budget."
