"This place wasn't the right level for me. I just wanted a doctor and this place is like a whole clinic that takes over everything! They understood that i absolutely did not need or want that, and after a month, closed my file and let me know I "graduated" - even though I never even went once. Thanks for understanding i don't belong there."
"Stop funding this place. I am very hurt by the profession of this location at the acute program. 1. No one enters a program to not socialize and associate with others in the matters and understanding of there mental and emotional matters. The point is to address familiarity of experience no matter the complexity. If I spoke, address or expressed to much shutting me down, misappropriating my intent or discarding my needs is NOT a appropriate action of professionalism. I should of been spoken to them slighted and shut down making me feel excluded. 2. Karen a counselor at the program did express that I needed to “ MOVE ON Its Over” mentality with me. I never saw her as an enemy she self projected that onto me by writing on line paper an unwarranted contract that “ I am not her enemy “ I was there for help not to be painted as a poor silhouette. 3. I apologize about accidentally blocking the number to Pollak acute program. I was getting calls about DEBT, soliciting and I blocked anything out of annoyance of them. To redirect my action as “ MENTAL” than appreciating my transparency is dishonest and unethical of the program. 4. I should have be provided a counselor I connected with. Karen Sarley in her profession so be guiding me. My TYPE of insurance isn’t excusable for my needs associated with ptsd. I needed help NOT BY MEL ROBBINS, By my counselor. I struggling trusting health care professionals with how disappointing they do not truly care. This is only voluntary leave because it better to discard those that are deemed TO DIFFICULT than work with, segregate them and disadvantage there access to there journey of improvement. Last I left Karen a voicemail expressing my hurt. I don’t think anyone apologized for the unnecessary action that was taking place and unwarranted escalation of matter under the negligence of Karen. I went to her multiple times during my needs when I was in severe anxiety. I had a lot on my plate and I was shoved of as an annoyance. At the time I couldn’t really speak well because of my stutter so it made it difficult to communicate. STOP FUNDING THIS PLACE. IT DID NOT HELP ME. My insurance should not matter or give less action to my needs. That inexcusable. My patient right should have been handled correctly. Nov 1st 2023 don’t let them tell you what you can’t do. After being denied guidance to my needs for closure and grief I am happy I left this center. The legal assistance was helpful but my counselor was not present for my needs and was dismissive. I remember being told I wasn’t ready to pursue my education, cosmetology . Perhaps to bill my insurance for the terrible service or its just keep to people low by keeping there expectations of themselves low. Don’t listen to the program counselors if they tell you You can’t do this, or that. Especially if they lack being attentive to their clients. When I left I stopped stuttering know no thanks to them and I am starting my cosmetology classes in which I was told “ Maybe you can’t “ Don’t tell me what I can and can not do please. 0 stars thanks for nothing I can just do it myself. Call me jaded, call me spiteful iv heard it all. When wrong is wrong people need to know."
"I just want to say how nice all the doctors ,therapists and social workers it’s the first place I have been too where they really try their best to understand and help us Love this place so so much"
"It takes time to get your initial appointment, but once you are in it's great. I have a therapist and a psychiatrist, they are both wonderful. The office works very nice with me. I felt I had to leave a compliment."
"Completely incompetent when it comes to billing. For two straight years they failed to bill ALL of my charges correctly and now I'm being hit with an onslaught of bills from collection agencies. I called billing customer service through Barnabas and they claimed that they don't have any insurance information on file for me. I have no idea how this could even be possible since Pollak makes you register with your insurance card before EVERY single appointment. I called the Pollak clinic billing line and even sent them a letter in the mail to try to resolve this problem. I have been completely ignored by them. This has caused me so much stress over the past two years that I decided to leave the clinic and transfer to a new one. I am glad I did because the new clinic has no issues billing to my insurance whatsoever. The care providers at Pollak are great but it is a real shame that their billing department doesn't seem to care about their patients."
