"UPDATE TO MY REVIEW: I am downgrading to ONE star, as the owner responded over a week ago asking for more info, which I immediately provided but have heard nothing. I'm sure that the excuse will be the holidays in-between, but it's more likely that the owner's "concern" was likely just a ploy to make readers of my review think that Garnet actually cares about my negative experience. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I am giving two stars only because the area was convenient (given I was staying with my family at Legoland) and the staff was nice. However, the doctor I saw was outright negligent and will be lucky if I decide not to sue for malpractice. I went there a bit over 5 weeks ago with a massive headache and the right side of my face completely swollen. I assumed it was a sinus infection... and I guess so did the doctor. Without performing any tests whatsoever he had his assistant inject me with steroids to attempt to reduce the inflammation in my face, then prescribed additional steroids and antibiotics. He did ask about the rash on the right side of my head, which I simply thought was a result of me using a massager to try and relieve the headache. Well, two days later when I went to my PCP after feeling worse, she walked in the room and didn't even have to do any tests... it was clear that I had Shingles. She immediately prescribed Valtrex, an antiviral, and told me to immediately cease taking the antibiotics. She also sent me to go see my eye doctor since, at this point, the virus had spread into my eye. So I call the eye doc's office and they set up an emergency appointment for me. My eye doc walks in the room, looks at me and says "Shingles huh... are you on Valtrex yet?" I told him my doc just phoned in the scrip for me. He had his assistant call the pharmacy to make sure it was in stock and ready when I got there. Then he told me "When you get to the pharmacy, you immediately take the Valtrex... don't even leave the counter. You need to get that antiviral in you immediately." Scary words! It is now 5+ weeks later and I've been to 4 different eye specialists within my eye doctor's practice on 6 separate occasions. My 7th visit is coming up in a couple of days and will hopefully show that the eye has improved with no indications of permanent damage. I am praying that my eye is fine, as I really am not the litigious type and don't want to sue the urgent care facility for malpractice. But please, for your own safety, be wary of this place."

"The staff here was great! I went in there for a bad allergic reaction. What seemed like the entire staff jumped right into action withing a minute of me being there, using all the necessary resources needed to get my blood pressure stabilized and kept me from going into anaphylactic shot potentially saving my life until the ambulance got there. Amazing work from the staff. Highly recommend Garnet Health Urgent Care."

"Im closer to the Middletown location but I prefer the Goshen location - Less volume, which means in and out. Last visit was with Np, Nicholas - He listened , answered my questions and my child was treated with lots of care. I would recommend this location to anyone."

"I recently went to this urgent care after straining my back moving. I was in so much pain, complete spasm, I could barely walk. I got there 20 min before closing, which I felt bad about. But the staff was incredible. They all made me feel comfortable and were so friendly and accommodating. From the front desk to the nurse to the doctor. They took their time. Didn't make me feel rushed. Asked questions. Examined me. Not only did the doctor treat me via injection on the premises and sent in an rx to pharmacy, she also took the time to suggest alternative remedies to try at home. She must have spent at least 30 min with me. I went home and tried them all. She suggested I take it easy for a few days. However, by the next day I was 80% back to normal and was able to keep a very important appt. And I never even needed the Rx. Ive been treated with the same meds many times in the past and they never ever worked. I really believe her bedside manner made all the difference!"
