"One word: Compassion. Compassion is at the core of every single teacher we have come across at Bright Horizons LIC. We just transitioned our one year old daughter into the toddler class and had a very informed PTC (parent teacher conference) this past Friday with Ms. Syeda! We were nervous about her transition since all the kids in her class are older/bigger than her by a few months. But what we learned on our call is that they truly foster an equitable environment that keeps all the babies' minds so stimulated. In addition to reading and free play, I learned that in her toddler class she does some yoga for self-soothing practices, paints, waters plants and they go to the MMZ (movement matters zone) twice a day. The schedule truly is wonderful and very much in line with what we do at home. I would highly recommend this location and all the beautiful people working there to any parent looking for the perfect baby school!"

"For us, Bright Horizons LIC is the place where our child spends every week day from morning to 6pm. We see him reaching new milestones day by day. At drop-off he is waving goodby to us, at pickup I find him busy and enjoying his activity. We really appreciate the teachers and the stuff and love that they engage so much in activities with the kids and also move them to other classes (like stem room, gym room, etc). I see the center as a safe environment and our child is happy and so do we."

"I had so much anxiety about sending my infant to daycare, but bright horizons LIC has been wonderful! They treat my baby like family and are so flexible with all requests for his meals/naps/etc. I couldn't be happier able his care. It's so nice to get pictures and updates about all his feedings, diapers, naps, and activities in their app. 10/10 would recommend."

"My husband and I would give more than 5 stars if we could! We recently moved out-of-state and the most difficult part of our move was removing our one year old daughter from her Toddler 2s class at Bright Horizons at Long Island City. From the first day, it was clear that our daughter was in the best hands. All of the teachers and staff at Bright Horizons cared for our daughter as if she were their own and our daughter loved them just as much. She looked forward to going to school everyday and truly stepped into her own during her time there. Her teachers were very in tune with her likes, dislikes and interests, and it was very evident that her teachers took the extra step to give the best care to each of the children. We looked forward to seeing all the pictures and videos the teachers would upload to the app every day. The children participated in so many activities, from time in the indoor gym to reading to singing/dancing. The center had very concrete COVID protocols and we felt very safe sending our daughter there. Shannon and William did a tremendous job communicating changing rules and expectations. Our daughter absolutely loved every day spent at Bright Horizons. We miss the teachers and staff already and are so grateful that they had such a major part in our daughter's development. We highly recommend Bright Horizons at Long Island City!"

"Our daughter was enrolled at Bright Horizons LIC for the from age 4 months - 1 year, and we would still be there if we lived in the neighborhood. Despite setting up a nanny share closer to home, we have been back for drop-in care when our nanny got sick. We can’t say enough about how kind, caring, and attentive the teachers and staff are! Our daughter was always well taken care of, and there were tons of activities to keep her entertained - songs, art projects, the movement room, etc. I appreciated the open door policy so I could always pop in for lunch. The center was very communicative - we could always stay up to date on the latest pictures and news in the app, and her teachers always took the time to tell us about her day when we picked her up. We would highly recommend the professionalism and genuine kindness of all the staff members at this Bright Horizons location! Looking forward to our next drop-in :)"
