"When shopping for big ticket items, we always do research and due diligence to ensure that we get the biggest bang for the buck. We spent all day visiting nearly a dozen furniture outlets, and our final decision was to buy from the great folks at Just Like Home Furniture & Mattress. Our cracked, sagging leather couches served us well for many years, but it was finally time to part ways! George warmly welcomed us to the store and was very professional and low-pressure, in sharp contrast to some other stores we visited where salespeople were a bit aggressive. We described our needs, and George showed us an amazing new package deal for a couch and love seat that was unbeatable! He also helped us research catalogue items to order two additional swivel chairs to complete the set. This store is the BEST! Great service and amazing prices! On a follow-up visit, I got to meet Kal as well, who was also very warm, friendly, and highly professional. The other great thing is that Just Like Home celebrates diversity in that one of their delivery crews has installers who are hearing-impaired. I'm an active volunteer in a Disability network, and I loved that these gentlemen had gainful employment at this store. They did a fantastic job efficiently setting up the furniture. I was inspired to learn some basic sign language for them, and their lip reading abilities were very good. It was a great, heartfelt experience. I highly recommend Kal and George at Just Like Home to make your home furnishing wishes come true!"

"Very rude customer service. I came in by myself and didn’t even get acknowledged until I was in the store for some time. Who ever eventually bothered to get off their behind to talk to me was incredibly rude and also misleading. He insisted that he had the couch I was looking for, but then proceeded to pull out a booklet to show me a picture that he didn’t even have in store (which made no sense because if I was looking to look at pictures I wouldn’t have came in the store). He then proceeds to say he has the item, but “it’s in the back” and it’s “different” … sir, that means you do not have the item. Regardless, I tell him I’m unsure of the measurements (I’m not an expert) but they should match this other couch that was already measured to fit the space of my house. He proceeds to go back and forth with me despite me already saying that they were measured already and they just have to match the dimensions of this other couch and then he argues with me about who measured them. Of course, if I was a man or accompanied by a man he wouldn’t have been rude and condescending. Maybe better customer service would help with your business closing."

"Very good, wait time for furniture may be slightly long due to logistics but everything about the experience was fine! The only thing I think needs improvement on is communicating whether or not there will be a delay. I ordered my sectional on 01/02/2023 & received it on 02/04/23. Overall, Kal is the one who will get the job done. He is very knowledgeable and will get you the best price possible."

"I’ve had polar opposite experiences at two furniture stores in my short tenure in New Jersey. One less reputable furniture store, and then Just Like Home. Much like their name implies, you will feel right at home in their huge showroom. If you’re lucky enough to come in on a day when Karen is there, you won’t leave disappointed. She is very insightful, charismatic, and humorous. She will be devoted to making sure you are satisfied with your product, and not obsessed with making a sale like other furniture salespersons. Kal, the store owner, is reliable and delivers on his promises. We got our couch delivered earlier than expect despite it falling on a national holiday. Their commitment to customer satisfaction is truly world class, and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. If you are looking for furniture in New Jersey there truly is no better place than Just Like Home!"

"Such a great experience and value. I started furniture shopping and had my mind made up that I could only fit smaller couches etc. until I saw Kal. All took time to look over the measurements of my layout and helped me get the sectional and ottoman set that I really wanted (but was afraid I couldn’t fit). It was from there that I said, I want them to furnish it all. Working primarily with Kal and George, they took time to listen to me, and steer me to great choices that they knew were either in stock or would be in stock by the time I moved. I love all of my furniture that I purchased, and some accent pieces in the photos (pine cone basket, gas pump clock, and lamp on living room end table were also provided by Just Like Home). Great selection. In addition the delivery staff are pros, they delivered and assembled fast as a team, cleaning up and taking all garbage with them, very polite and professional. Although I am currently in an apartment, I know someday I will be in a house, and can’t wait to visit Kal and his great team again. In terms of pricing, they are right there with your big chain suppliers, but the quality is so much better. I paid about 300$ less than my quote from Bobs, and wasn’t pressured into any kind of financing or credit card situation (like Bobs was doing). In addition the quality is better, most of my living and dinning room furniture is made by Ashley, and at a price point they are far less expensive than Ashley. My bedroom furniture is not cheap press board, yet rather high quality. And as I said, they really take time to work with you and listen to your needs. So please take it from me, and support your local business, better quality and better pricing. One more note, is that not only do they take time to work with you and meet your needs, but they don’t lose you in the mix. When I purchased my table, it was a gift from my mom. She didn’t go in yet rather called in 2-3 days after I saw it, spoke to George who after speaking to Kal knew exactly what table it was (even though he hadn’t seen me in a few days) Both gentlemen were great, and my mom couldn’t stop talking about how great they were, and neither can I."
